The thing that I find most disturbing about about Dahmer was that he painted himself as the victim of his own story. Like he was cursed by urges that he just could not control, fueled by a need to not feel abandoned and thus doomed to do these horrific things.

Excellent point that Nick made. We’re getting away of not checking on who you are spending time with. I’m like hella scared to date because the quality of men are getting worse.

i got teary eyed when you offered help to us if we go home with someone and to make sure we’re safe 😭

You guys are great. Joseph saying "text me" exemplifies your humanity and compassion for fellow community members ❤️

What shocked me most is the polaroid of 14-year-old Konerak shown on the 3rd episode. I can't get that picture out of my head and the look on that boy's face. It is heartbreaking how the police failed this teenager. He could and should've been saved that night.

Just finished the documentary. Here we go to the rabbit hole of Dahmer again

The glorification of this average creepy guy just because he lifted weights is so depressing

Detective Joseph on the case finding missing persons, right after he investigates Liam Neeson’s wig.

After watching this, it just made me mad. The way the officers acted after they returned the 14 year old child to him to be murdered....Those police offers made me sick, and quiet frankly enraged me....especially with the comments they made... "The intoxicated naked Asian male was returned to his sober boyfriend" as they laugh in the background while someone else dies...but it doesn't end there! They continue With their homophobic jokes " it will be a minute, my partner's got to get deloused at the station".... but they were being "respectful" of the community! "They"(police and the people who championed them) claim...those officers shouldnt of just been fired, they should of been charged too! Oh wait I forgot, they appealed and won, so I guess they didnt even get fired..Their actions were, and still are...disgusting, disturbing, and disgraceful in my eyes🤮

Joseph, thank you for kindness and generosity

Great take guys on Dahmer! I agreed 100% and y’all are right, we need to be more aware and connected with each other especially for health and safety purposes. You both at the end were really showing care for the community 😊

There was this news thing about having codes in bars for the bartender if you are uneasy or feel in danger and they would call the police, or call you a cab, by ordering a certain drink. .. I think these types of things are important. It's sad, but what you guys said is true you have to be more careful with surroundings and let people know where you are.

My fav episode. And I was going to skip this one because I was soooo over this murdering animal. So happy I was able to see how beautiful y’all hearts are ❤

I agree about looking out for ourselves and for each other more. I walk and take the bus, and people always ask why I don't use earbuds or headphones and listen to music or podcasts, and my answer is that I need to have all senses sharp. It's scary out there!!

The comment about being "Dahmered out" pretty much makes this series a hard pass for me. All these series do nothing but put more intrigue on man who doesn't deserve it.

You two fellows are wonderful human being!!🤩

I remember reading the comprehensive Newsweek article when this happened- back in the nineties. It scared me. I was a tween then. I went to look at Marquette college a few years later. The tour guide told me that he had lived right next to campus. I bolted out of there as fast as I could. Thanks for the review!

If Jeffrey Dahmer doesn't meet the requirements for insanity, then I'd hate like hell to run into the guy that does

Glad I found your channel, I like the way you two dissect your film reviews. You are both well spoken and intelligent and a pleasure to listen to . Thanks I've subbed and look forward to more content. I wasn't crazy about the Ryan Murphy series (I did feel Richard Jenkin's quietly stole the show as Lionel Dhamer.  Evan Peter's performance felt too one note to me). What I find crazy, and bothersome, is how easily these people were lured into his flat given the rotting stench that hung around it. In that first episode that guy pinches up his nose saying "ooh what is that smell" yet he still goes in. If I met a bloke at a club and went home with him and the first thing I was greeted with was that smell then there is no ways in hell I would be entering his apartment. Even if he wasn't a serial killer and was the sexiest thing I had ever layed my two eyes upon , I am sorry  but my hygiene  buttons would have been ringing off the charts. I would have hightailed out of there faster than a jack rabbit.

Going through some of your older videos that I hadn't seen before -- this one is particularly insightful! I'm definitely going to have to check out that Dahmer podcast!
