Twinsanity is a Gem that really needs to have a Remake .... I finished it recently and still it has the same vibe and I'm 34 Years old BTW .

Fun fact: the reason cortex starts frozen in the intro is becuase twinsanity is after the 100% ending of wrath of cortex, where Uka uka blows up cortex station, but then they use an escape pod to land in antartic, this also cures crunch and he becomes friendly to crash

this was my first crash game, i only got to ant people in a cavern never beat them cuz I was 6, always wondered what was beyond that point. remember having a dream one night where Crash was dragging cortex around is a purple room reminiscent of the McDonalds indoor playground for some reason while also fighting off hordes of ant people. I found another copy and finally beat the game at 14 and well the ant people stuck around, that's for sure. I'm nearly 26 now, god the memories this game man

It's the aesthetics... I'm drawn to the Academy of Evil hub world, it reminds me of halloween and the two Scary Godmother's movies. I can't be the only one.

You don't hear a lot of people ever talk about how this game made them feel as a kid and bringing those memories back as an adult is such a nice treat! I love seeing the support for this game from it's community! This video is inspiring me to make a twinsanity video about how I believe o be a masterpiece or even a hidden gem of a game!

The crash twinsanity soundtrack is straight serotonin for my brain.

Every sound effect from the double jump to the sound of collecting a gem....man this game needs a remaster. I've played all the oldschool crash games - "Crash Bandicoot Warped" being my number 1...but crash twinsanity is easily a close number 2.

I was 7 when I played this game for the first time. The Tenth Dimension was absolutely mesmerising. I would spend HOURS wandering around it, just listening to the music, and imagining what lay through those portals in the sky, and those distant islands. I wanted to be there so bad. The reddish purple sand and the purple water... me and my friends used to pretend we were there.

And my god, that music when you first go through the portal and first play in the Tenth Dimension. It sounded like an intense longing to go back - you've gone through the portal now and you CAN'T go back. You are in this world now. You'd better get used to it. It moved 7-year-old me to tears.

I freaked when I saw a twinsanity video! Interesting take and I do agree that this game holds a special place in the Crash franchise for all the reasons listed in this video. ❤

The last hub world Twinsanity Dimension, gave me that feeling of wonder and mystery, specially with that weird soundtrack, the red skybox was awesome and beautiful, gave me the feeling of being on an alien planet, and dealing with these futuristic gem puzzle sections, exploring the island and discovering the secret shortcuts to areas in each world, this game is filled with such magic I wish i could relive it again.

I rented Twinsanity so many times. It was the soundtrack and the open world design that hooked me back then. As I got older and watched the game I could no longer play, the comedy aspects hit harder and made me appreciate it more. Twinsanity deserved better and I’m glad Crash got a bit of a resurgence recently.

What a coincidence! I’ve been replaying Twinsanity too recently 😅

For me it’s not so much the areas, but the characters. This game gave each one so much more personality compared to other games, and growing up, I always imagined what it would be like to just go in their world and meet them. Nina was my favorite, mostly because she didn’t talk, and I always tried imagine what she would sound like. So just imagine how delighted I was when I got CTTR and I actually got to hear what she sounds like. These new Crash games are great but I don’t think I’ll be able to like them the same way I love Twinsanity until they bring Nina back.
