Can anyone define what a field is.

At time 6:45 a graph is shown depicting AC waveforms for Voltage, Capacitor Displacement current and Inductor Magnetic Current. This apparently relates voltage and current waveforms in the parallel resonant circuit under consideration. A couple of observations or questions are pertinent to what's shown.
We don't know what the voltage waveform actually represents. Would it correspond to what would be observed on an oscilloscope connected in parallel with the LC circuit?
Do we assume the oscilloscope probe ground terminal is connected to the interconnecting conductor on the bottom L & C terminals and the active (positive) probe is connected to the interconnecting conductor on the top L & C terminals?
Given the above is true concerning the voltage waveform, in what sense are the current waveforms notionally observed?
Are the currents depicted those which would be observed flowing into the top terminal of either the L or the C? Or are the currents observed as those flowing at a particular instant in a particular direction - clockwise or counterclockwise? For instance, this latter case would be consistent with a current probe interposed somewhere in the closed circuit path.
If we are thinking of the terminal voltage/ current relationship for each element, this needs to be clarified.
Are both currents depicted considered as conventional or electron current flows? One would need to adopt the same convention for both to be consistent.
One final comment. The magnetic and displacement currents are shown to have different magnitudes. At very low frequency resonance conditions one would expect the two to be identical as there is a continuous and observable current which is identical at either the inductor or capacitor terminals. In particular, the conduction current at the capacitor terminals must equate exactly to the displacement current related to the time varying electrostatic field within the capacitor itself.

What is this "secret" universities are supposedly hiding?

Where is this guy from?

Electrons have a negative charge by convention, making the current flow opposite the direction of electron flow.  It was assigned this way to be consistent with the current convention established by Franklin.  It makes the math work perfectly.  To drive the point home, the positive side of a voltage difference represents a point with higher electrical potential energy for a positive charge, not a negative charge as with an electron, again thanks to Franklin.  So in a circuit you have negative charges traveling up an electrical potential, which is equivalent to positive charges traveling down an electrical potential.  Your claim that the convention is wrong represents a misunderstanding of the conventions and their meaning.

The parasitic capacitance is just a capacitor, can be replaced by a normal capacitor and get same effect

Ivo don't give up, you are very close, look up the new science of metamaterial and 4D QHE, the tesla coil is a metamaterial that operates in the 4D space through the fringing effects you discuss which is the same as the boundary effect as in the quantum hall effect.

@1:50 you said the Current is 180 degrees out of phase with the Voltage but on your Graph it is 90 degrees.

The "fringing field" you're describing is just the electric field of the tesla coil. It doesn't "grab energy" from the surrounding environment, and in fact when it's ionizing air or lighting a neon bulb, that takes energy from the tesla coil, rather than contributing to it.

Tesla coils affecting external objects via the electric field still represent a closed circuit, it's just that the circuit is completed by capacitive coupling between the coil, the objects, and ground.

Can you give a rundown on how Maxwell Chikumbutso is able to power his car using what he calls microsonic technology.

🙏🙏🙏

I wish I had teachers like you in school ❤

Great as always. Yes, virtual photons are mediators in the near-field energy exchange, or displacement currents. I think Tesla may have been using, or creating a condition where these virtual particles were broadcast en mass and coupling with the HV making massive D, electric flux density, while de-coupling the electron field from the conductors and allowing circuits to oscillate at a resonant f, creating the B-field(s) where necessary according to local circuit design. just my 2 cents worth!

Tom Bearden, Eric Dollard, John Bedini ... have you looked into their research?

When AC is connected to a capacitor, does the current flow through the capacitor's dielectric?

As I understand it, the elemental base of an electric circuit with alternating current affects how the current phase is positioned relative to the voltage phase (leading or lagging), and the movement of electrons (negative charges) occurs due to the fact that a positive charge initiates the creation of the electron movement vector. In a section of the circuit (with alternating or pulsed current), the positively charged part of the conductor can predominate, and the other part of the circuit will (including the elemental base) give off a negative charge to balance the potential.... And I think that your work in finding free energy is still going down a difficult path ... your decisions and actions are wrong ... but you still have everything ahead of you ... "Experience is the son of difficult mistakes" ...

The lagging/leading of the current, with respect to voltage, has NOTHING to do with its polarity; it will just flip the entire IV plot across the x-axis. A lagging current is indicative of an inductive load and a leading current is indicative of a capacitive load. It’s a property of the type of load, not charge type. In other words, just because you change the charge type does not mean you changed the load-type. Your opening statement has me questioning the validity of everything that follows.

Great video as always! Question - would you describe the displacement current as longitudinal in nature, and 'normal' EM current as transverse? If so, is displacement current actually the A-field divergence without the curl because it is a time gradient, not spatial? There seems to be a link here that's describing the same energy flow except one is confined by curl in space...the other in time is the same energy flow unabridged?

👍

Thanks. Back in the middle '80s I went to tech school.  I organically realized that current DOES NOT flow through a capacitor.  Current flows to a capacitor.  That gives the illusion of current flow through a capacitor. A few decades later I designed resonate LC circuits, using Multisim. I was amazed to model voltage resonance in the LC circuit to be 1000 times higher than the input voltage. How can  that be? Empirical measurements also concurred with multisim modeling. You are on to revealing how to tap into the quintessential energy source!
