In this video, I break down every officially licensed X-Men video game in chronological order — from the very first arcade release in 1989 all the way to modern console titles.

I’ve excluded Wolverine-only games and Tiger handheld titles so this list stays focused strictly on core X-Men games featuring the team, the villains, and the stories fans care about.

If you’re a longtime X-Men fan, a retro gamer, or just curious how the franchise evolved over time in video games, this is the complete timeline you’ve been looking for.
