On the day of the Mid-Autumn Festival, I visited two of Shanghai's most iconic and popular landmarks: Nanjing Road East and the Bund.
Nanjing Road East was even livelier than usual during the holiday; the streets, shopping malls, and pedestrian zones were bustling with tourists and filled with a festive atmosphere. Continuing on to the Bund, the banks of the Huangpu River were brilliantly illuminated. The Lujiazui skyline and the historic architecture across the water complemented each other beautifully, making this Mid-Autumn night truly special.
