$200k on a 3 day concert is fucking insane

Coachella was supposed to be a f you to expensive concerts and the ticket/ entertainment industry, how far it has fallen.

No sympathy for these people

I mean, it's ridiculous to hike the price up over Coachella weekend, but let's be real- it's not the college kids themselves paying, it's their rich entitled parents.

The number of poor saps that are paying for this using debt is ridiculous

Back in my day we used to be proud to show we got things on the cheap. Even if you had to lie.
Paying high prices used to make you look stupid.
How times have changed

1. ‘I’m gonna spend 3k of my hard earned pay on Coachella!’
2. ‘My boss doesn’t pay me enough to f’n live!!!’

Last year was a disaster and almost everyone felt they were robbed.
But hey...this year is sold out.

I have zero sympathy for these people.

I must be so behind the times, because up to a few years ago, I thought Coachella was a handbag brand, not a festival.

When I was homeless, I got a transfer from the shelter over to a nice house that had been completely remodeled that was specifically being used for transitional housing for homeless , veterans and people who had just transitioned out of correctional facilities. It had been totally refurbished four bedrooms 4 baths with a full kitchen/ living room with a washer and dryer. It was nice it was quiet, we got along with the neighbors. And then all the sudden out of the blue the owner decides he wants to convert the space to a Airbnb so he could make more money. We weren't even getting 30 days to move out and I'm now in a rooming house the same price that I was paying at the other place for even less space they basically took a house and built out the basement and there are six of us down here, five people upstairs. Airbnb is a ripoff and it's made the housing situation in Atlanta even worse not better

$200k for a weekend at Coachella 😨 Even if I had that much, I’m not convinced it’s worth it.

@PKAclipimprover 5 months ago

I'll probably never bother to try, but I imagine it would be difficult to feel much sympathy for the idiots getting scammed.

Everything about Coachella is just mental, if you have to go through all of that mess just to go to a music festival, atp why even go?? Girl go find a cheaper one or just watch the performances on YouTube 😭
