This time, I'll be test driving the Honda *CIVIC e:HEV RS* on public roads!

I was at the shop for an oil change on my own car when I was unexpectedly given the opportunity to drive the Civic e:HEV RS. So, with almost no prior knowledge, I'll be reviewing my impressions as they are.

This time, I mainly drove on public roads in ECON mode.

The shop manager had warned me beforehand that the suspension was quite stiff, so I deliberately drove on some rough roads to check the ride comfort and the impression of the suspension.

While the suspension is indeed firm, it's not as extremely stiff as older lowered cars; personally, I found it perfectly acceptable.

Furthermore, we frankly checked the following while driving:

・Ride comfort on ordinary roads

・e:HEV acceleration

・Brake feel

・Regenerative braking and deceleration selector

・Interior quietness

・Paddle shift feel

・Differences from my usual N-BOX

・Actual fuel economy in ECON mode

This time, the ordinary road driving was approximately 7.8km.

There was a lot of stop-and-go driving, and the air conditioning was used, but the final average fuel economy was an amazing

25.4km/L

This result was quite surprising for a sporty RS.
