As to be expected from Luca and Skari, this was so so so fun. It showed off all the 11th stuff, and both players really had a blast. Brutal and deadly, but strategy and tactics at premium.
I can't wait to get some 11th ed played. Thank you both of you for being such fun and passionate, proper gamers.

Skari is cool because he plays his favorite army and sticks with it. A master Dark Eldar player. I have more respect for players that focus on one army instead of jumping from meta army to meta army or playing 10 different armies and performing poorly or average while playing matches.

On Luca's turn at 1:06 why did Skarri fight combat after the fights first? Its the active player's choice on the next combat from how we read the rules which is a major change from last edition. Unless the succubus has first first.

Is it true then that Characters being attached at list building happening before Declare Battle Formations step prevents you from splitting a unit with a Venom and attaching separate characters to each smaller group?

Not trying to be "That guy" by any means, just confused on the rulings: At the bottom of round 5 scoring, you guys talking about Luka getting 14 primary and then 5 bonus primary was it for a total of 19 primary points scored that turn? Maybe I misunderstood what had happened, but if not, I believe he could've only scored up to 15pts due to the point cap per round, right? Excellent game to watch all around, thank you for the show!

In 11th edition, is there no longer an obligation to test BS for repositioned units? The GK player dropped below half-strength units several times, but I haven't seen him test BS?

If i copy the same list of Skari in NewRecruit even without the enhancements i get 2055 pts. Is this right? Or do some pts of units change in 11th?

Skari when you were positioning the scourge you indicated they were hidden 12" where does that come from?

22:33 and 36:08 Unfortunately, I don't think Fly + Plunging + Heavy works how we'd like it to.

The Flying rule [21.03] says: "Each time a FLYING unit is selected to make a normal, advance, fall-back or charge move, before moving any models in that unit, the active player can declare that it will take to the skies. If it does, *while resolving that move:* ...  Ignore all vertical distance for the purposes of how far it has moved"

So the vertical distance is only ignored during the fly move. When the Heavy rule then checks in the shooting phase how far the unit has moved, it sees the full distance.

And since Plunging only goes off if you're at least 3" up, you can't get both it and Heavy at the same time unless you started some distance up.

Anyway. Great battle guys, really nice to see examples of the new edition. And Skari's Drukhari is always great to watch!
