Thanks for the info. I will continue to purchase lab grown diamonds as they are essentially the same as mined diamonds. However there is not the exploitation of the native miners when purchasing natural diamonds and if to the naked eye they are indistinguishable from natural diamonds, i will be happier knowing that I’m not exploiting anyone to wear lab grown diamonds. I’m sure there are many that feel the same way.

I have been wearing Lab Diamonds for about two decades. I defy any person on the street to tell the difference by just by sight. There are two famous Jewellery Houses that their designers have been producing lab diamonds for a select market.

I love gems. I used to talk to jewellers just to see and ask about gems as a kid. Even now in my 30’s - some are still happy and enthused to show me their favourite pieces even I can never afford it

That was so much fun! I had no idea that lab grown and natural diamonds had opposite affects under certain types of uv. All of the testers were amazing and its really interesting that they dont test as diamond with the regular diamond tester. Very interesting episode! Thanks fpr sharing!
