im mentally prepared for your vocaloid confessions: https://tellonym.me/Minnemi

I'm not sure how hot of a take this is but people just don't know how to use male voice banks.

I have to agree with the 10th confession because I hate it when people make Flowers voice all high-pitched like no, it just really annoying

As a vocaloid fan since 2018 and a project sekai fan since day one when it released, project sekai has done genuinely good things for the vocaloid community. It spotlights small producers through commissions and song contests (such as NEXT contests, as well as its collaborations with vocacolle) and at one point has a vocaloid producer ACADEMY where oster project and hachiojip taught small producers how to go big and stuff and all the “students” released songs after the academy. I’m also 99% sure the reason why crypton has been letting the other cryptonloids have more songs and spotlight in concerts is because of project sekai, the game isn’t like project diva where the songs are 90% Miku, there’s is great diversity with its songs among the 6 cryptonloids (a project sekai concert was the first time all 6 cryptonloids sang on stage together at the same time). I could literally go on and on about proseka and the cool things its done, such as commissioning 6 very small producers to make an album based on the in game units, commissioning not ONE not TWO but THREE RETIRED BIG PRODUCERS for the game, and so on..

A lot of people shit on project sekai fans for being annoying and while I do agree the fandom is kinda annoying, the game itself has done massively good things for the scene, particularly with promoting smaller producers, and I wish old timer vocaloid fans would stop shitting on the game as a whole thinking it’s nothing but cancer for the community…

Project Sekai is what I think the old Vocaloid fans would've acted like in this era. I know most of y'all were kids back then because there is no way an adult couldn't use their brain cells together and realize that the Vocaloids were not the ones making the music, causing the "Lack-of-crediting artists" epidemic.

My controversial opinion is that Akita Neru's voice being high pitched Miku doesn't work anymore Because 80% of new music that has Miku in it tune her to be mind numbingly squeaky and that's just her new default now to me
Thats why I'm team "low pitched Rin" Neru because whens the last time you heard a low range Rin? Its more  unique to Neru
Now i hope low range rin isn't oversaturated in the next few years for that to not be Neru's unique voice anymore lol

On #18, it pisses me off whenever I see some older fans talk crap about the "annoying" ProSeka fanbase, when I know damn well they were doing the "Len so smexy XDDDD" routine back when they were 14. I understand being frustrated but I just wish people would have a little more sympathy. God forbid kids are annoying on the internet, every single fandom has that

This video is how I find out Oliver got a “re design” and he’s honestly so adorable

Never meet in person Vocaloid voice providers. I met Asami Shimoda and now i can't unsee her face and voice when i hear Rin and Len songs.

my unpopular opinion is that luka is awesome and she deserves more attention and i wish people would make new songs with her 😭 (but ik her new VBs suck ass so that’s probably why people don’t use her anymore)

opinion 11 is really annoying and i wish people would stop saying it. plenty of japanese producers write lyrics just as edgy (neru, maretu, kikuo’s popular songs etc) it just sounds less awkward to you because you can’t understand it and give the translation benefit of the doubt. plus i fear most people who say all english vocaloid is bad have barely branched out or heard any of it aside from like crusher ghost and pals and circusp. so many more good english producers are getting big right now its the perfect time to branch out

The project sekai bringing me back to vocaloid I agree with as well, I mean I haven’t played for months bc it’s getting boring and repetitive but finding out new producers is never a bad thing

Vocaloid fans calling Pjsk fans whiny is pot calling kettle black

For the flower confession, YES PEOPLE TUNE HER WAYYYY TO HIGH LIKE ITS ANNOYING PLS TUNE HER WITH A MORE DEEPER VOICE and tbh she doesnt really sound that androgynous in most of her songs and I hate when people go FUKASE IS GAY all the time its so annoying.

1:39 I love v3&v4 equally, but v3 definitely deserves more recognition people don't even acknowledge she exists 😭

I don’t understand how its so hard for people to understand that in the vocaloid music videos the vocaloids are “playing the role” so rin and len are lovers in the song story or siblings in a different one or even just completely unrelated classmates 😱😱😱

I don’t have a problem with new Voca fans and ProSeka in general, hell I play PJSK (Nene my beloved) and enjoy the game quite a bit.

HOWEVER:
I will not stand for the “such and such song is a project sekai song” and it’s just fucking Worlds End Dancehall or Patchwork Staccato or Romeo and Cinderella. They are VOCALOID songs, they were not made for PJSK. Calling songs like Beyond the Way, The World Hasn’t Even Started Yet, BUG and TeraTera PJSK songs is okay, because they were commissioned for the game!

I also will never EVER be calling Miku a virtual singer. Idc it sounds corny 😞

basically vocaloid confessions but 109x lighter

5:06 VOCALOID since the very beginning has been marketed as a natural sounding vocal synthesizer. That IS the point.

the meme squad,,,,,, thats a name i havent heard in decades,,,,,,,
