Some people say .—— once a drug addict always a drug addict ,!!!

But I’m here to tell you ,,,   I’ve been clean since 1994 !!!

It takes a lot of huevos to stand there in front of people&talk about moments of vulnerability.

By far one of my favorite bits. Orale Raza, esta si me llega. ✊🏽

All of these people look like they can't relate to this man's experience at all.

If you close your eyes he kinda sounds like a Mexican Terminator

The tragedies of living in the hood are real, you brought a lot of harsh memories. Most of those people in the audience do not have an idea of what we have encountered. You made something of your life, keep it up .

This made me cry. I made a lot of mistakes in my life and I'm sorry for the people I hurt.

shout out to Father Greg and Homeboy Industries

There's a likeability to this guy. I can tell there's pain under all of his funny stories. I'm glad guys like this make something out of their clearly rough past.

Am I the only one that got hit in the heart with this at the end. I know some didn't look at it like that but wow. much respect opening up like that. I guess only people who have walked the same path will understand. I have a new favorite comedian and it's this guy right here. much love man keep climbing up to the top.

This reminds of growing up in the hood when I was in middle school. One day after school I was riding my bike to the store and their was a parked bike outside the liquor store and as I passed by I accidently cliped the bike and it fell over, just my luck the owner of the bike happen to see me do it and he also happen to be the gang leader of the biggest gang in our neighborhood. Few minutes after the incident like 20 guys showed up to my cousins house were I was hiding. they were looking for me to beat me up, my cousin told them I wasn't their they didnt believe him but eventually they all left. The next couple of days I got a hold of a small .25 caliber handgun and was carrying it to school and everywhere I went because I was scared for my life. A week later the 3 main guys looking for me were shot and killed, it's sad to say but a huge weight had been lifted off my shoulder. And thinking back I'm glad I was never put in a situation were I was forced to use my gun, who knows how that would of turned out!! Much respect!

Felipe makes me proud to be a Mexican

By his eyes you could tell his story took him waaay back when... Keep on winning Felipe

I love that Felipe is in the comments actually replying to people. What a lovable dude. Hope to see you preform soon.

he deserved a better audience

holy shit is I just got more respect for this guy he just give his testimony....  much respect....

When he said  "I never thought I'd even be alive this long to be here." I felt that. I never thought I would make it to see 28....so many of my friends died before 25 I figured it was how my life would turn out as well.

This is one of my favorite stories I have ever heard. This is beautiful.

Bro sounds like a testimony. God has his hand on your life. Dont run from it.

I smoked a joint with Felipe Esparza, true story
