1) Identify the Goal (I call it KNOW the WHAT)
2) Understand your Audience ( I call it KNOW the WHO)
3) Communicate the Value ( I call it SAY the WHY)
4) Express the Need ( I call it WORK the HOW NOW)

Points I took from this:
1. What you say is just as important as how you say it
2. Talk with a purpose
3. Understand who you're speaking to
4. Try to make them understand the value of whatever you're talking about, and how it would benefit them

3. Communicate the value -what they get out of the deal
4. Express the need that u both want.

By doing this you can combat the resistance felt through challenges

Strategic communication is communicating with purpose while Showcasing value in other to achieve a goal. This allows both parties to mutually benefit.
1. Identify the goal
2. Understand your audience
3. Communicate the value
4. Express the need (what your respondent wants)

I had an "Aha" moment listening to this talk, I never thought personal communication needing a plan or strategy yet after this video and hindsight tells me I need to start so thank you, pure genius to use a personal as well as a professional scenario.
