At the recording of the video the first and second girls (Cocona & Maya) were 16. They came out in 2022 but were training for 7 years prior. There's 7 Japanese girls but this is their rap line. Woke Up had all 7 rapping. They grew up singing and rapping, influenced by 90s & 00s hip hop and r&b.

At the time of recording this, Cocona & Maya were 16/17.
The 4 of them each rapped in Japanese, Korean & English

"Run that back, u just wanna see that.. from a musical standpoint..." smiling ear to ear. I know fam, she pretty af haha

You should know that these young ladies had  years of hard training & some of the rappers were doing there thing before they were even teens. These girls are the real deal. From a 60 something UK Alpha, I've been following them since debut. They deserve more recognition 💖👑🐺

Thanks for reacting again to XG!  They're rapping in English, Japanese, and Korean.  Tape #3A and #3B are also in a mix of English, Japanese, and Korean with subtitles (but the subtitles just show the Japanese or Korean, not translations).  TAPE #4 (4 individual videos of about 1:30 each, plus 1 group video) is all in English with subtitles, so you could jump forward to that one if you want to hear all of what they're saying without using a lyrics video.

The first girl is Cocona, she rapped in three (3) languages (English, Korean, and Japanese) for her piece. She is the Maknae or youngest member. She is definitely a student of rap. She has been rapping since she was in 3rd grade so she knows her way around hip hop. They are basically tri-lingual.

CHOTTO is little bit in Japanese, MOTTO is more in Japanese
“When they see me they go motto, when they see you they chotto”

This is Tape #2.  The way I was introduced to XG when I randomly clicked on this video years ago.  I think you guys are gonna really like Tape #3-B 🔥🔥🔥

AlphaZ are a wolf pack, so some young wolves are going to attack at any sign of aggression towards the pack. Nothing personal!😂

Coco was just 16 at the time of filming.  She got into rapping in the third grade listening to Lauryn Hill and TLC. Her part went viral and is how a lot of AlphaZ discovered XG!👊🐺✌️

They are a group of 7 "Xtraordinary Girls" from Japan but operate out of Korea. They are exceptional rappers, singers, and dancers. They are not considered k-pop but "X-pop" instead since they dive into many different genres such as R&B, rap, pop, house, edm. Their lore is that they are "Galactic Wolves" traveling the galaxy conquering planets. The fandom is called ALPHAZ and we're part of the collective wolf pack. 🐺🐺🐺🐺ALPHAZ ON DECK!🐺🐺🐺🐺

Sorry that a lot attacked you guys about AI. People need their media literacy and emphasizing skils improved sometimes.

I’m sorry for anyone who attacked you for merely stating an opinion they don’t represent the fandom or the group I hope you can enjoy XG and their music and great reaction ❤️❤️

To simplify who they are:
Japanese Girls.
Speak Korean and English.
Legit Singers.
Legit Rappers.
Legit Dancer.

'When they see you they go chotto (just a little bit)

When they see me they go motto (more)!' -Jurin

As we speak, all the members of XG are 19 to 23 years old.

This is genius: Jurin bar "when they see you, they go 'choto,' -- when they see me, they go 'moto.'" 🔥 Choto means "stop," moto means "more." 💯 👑 👑 👑

smal hints für TAPE#2
Chotto - Japanese for Stop/Little, Motto - Japanese for Go/More. "When they see you they say Chotto, When they see me they say Motto" * Takin' no L's and giving no F's, Mmh, Mmh (never will be marked a Loser cause we winning, giving no F's meaning not that they care what haters think!) * Don’t be bitter, be better * Never miss a beat freakin' misdemeanor (legal charge for beating someone up, but tied to music beat, ref to Missy Elliott who was called misdemeanour) * Popping on them 808's (808's are 1980's rap rhythm composer equipment Roland TR-808) * Here for the throne, Khaleesi Flow (Queen, Game of Thrones) * I got to keep winning like an Elon Must (Musk) * We on the come up, While they goin' down, down bad (call out to Down Bad, OG beat Maya is rapping over)

Here in the video they sing in English, Japanese and Korean

They trained 5 years before releasing this. They each switch between English, Japanese, and Korean on their tracks. I suspect they were testing different markets in the beginning.
This lyrics video translates the Japanese and Korean parts into English.

Yes she spoke korean, Japanese and English.

Cocona and Maya were 16. Harvey and Jurin were 19.
