Thanks for watching!
Do you prefer your clan with mystics or not?

TMNT is at its best when it balances the dark gritty ninja action, crazy sci fi and mystical/supernatural elements

The mystical part of TMNT was always a bit underutilized.
I feel like the 2003 (seasons 1-5) and 2012 show managed to find a way to balance the science fiction and magic elements.

Can you imagine if the live action sequels went this route?

8:44. Karai in the 2012 show started with that belief because of the Shredder.

Now I really enjoyed this I never thought about a deep dive into the background of the Foot Clan...now what would be cool is if there were offshoots or spin off groups of the clan.

i just wanna say thank you for all this great tmnt stuff

I love your content dude!!!

I like both takes on the foot clan

Can you go more into depth of the mystical and arcane aspect of the teenage mutant ninja turtles in general instead of one iteration

I was waiting for this video. 🤩💥 🇧🇷

These videos are amazing, pulling together so many threads

Thanks for the amazing video

Considering places like Japan have a long history of tying martial arts (along with everything else) to spirituality and the supernatural elements that come with it, I think it's natural the Foot Clan turned out arcane.

A lot of the sci-fi stuff in TMNT can also weird me out, so having some supernatural characters here and there is nice variety for me.

These Foot oughta be in Mortal Kombat.
And I wonder if you’re going to cover the 2003 Foot as well in the future?

omfg thank you!

I love the supernatural aspects of the Foot Clan.

3:10 Was this Takashi the inspiration for IDW's Takeshi Tatsuo?I know their spelled differently, was just curious.

Is this guy from Nova Scotia?

Personally, I've never been convinced by the introduction of magic in TMNT.
It's one of the few things I criticize in the 2003 series (along with the presence of a subspecies of Justice League).

If more Japanese Eldrich Culture was included and properly portrayed in the TMNTs as it did in the 2012 Animated series but more mature, it would be awesome. We can see this in many Anime EDO PERIOD stuff, especially dealing with the Shinobi aspect of it, stuff like NINJA SCROLL, BASILISK Kouga Ninpo Chou and the such would definitely amp up the TMNTs and the Foot Clan. The 2012 Series when mentioning the Kuro Kabuto which literally means Black Helmet, was a great thing to have used in a mix with Alchemy. And that is what could be even more awesome, science and magic, all wrapped up with Japanese Lore inspired on stuff like the titles I mentioned, including Japanese creatures of lore, an excellent mix most definitely.
