When I was a kid I thought Care Bears were part of the Star Wars universe because I was terrified of Ewoks and the only way my mom could calm me down was by saying that Ewoks were cousins to the Care Bears, who just lived on another planet.

It’s so hard to watch past your line: “Luke, don’t molest your sister in her sleep!” Because nothing can top it.

So the holiday special not only introduced Boba Fett but inspired The Mandalorian , and people say nothing good came out of that.

@Freshie207 6 years ago

The animation company that made Droids did the animated section of the Holiday Special, so they were trying to avoid conflict with continuity they themselves created

As a character designer, GODDAMN do I wanna work on something like this. This set up is completely non-condusive to creating characters anyone will care to rememeber, and it's hilarious. You could do anything! Yes, THROW your money at me TV executive! I will design hundreds of characters, and they will only show up ONCE! And it will be BEAUTIFUL.

I can’t believe you’ve made me hear the word “moistly”

I wonder what is Quinton’s take on The Beatles Cartoon? He should do a whole video on the obscurity of it to bring light to that beautifully horrifying masterpiece.

Broke: EU
Woke: Splinter of the Minds Eye

A look at the lore pre-Empire is so trippy, like another universe

Star Wars is an exercise in realizing that beloved and respected media franchises are all silly to their core and that being silly to their core is no reason for anyone to look down on any form of media just for that alone.

Also spinning with your light saber to fly is stupid.

One day in the future, I hope Quinton can become the curator of some sort of lost media museum, gently explaining to the CyberYouths how like, editing with a keyboard and mouse worked.

Disney: any EU media predating The Force Awakens is now considered non-canon

Star Wars fans: well yes but also no

@brandonsroo4008 6 years ago

when you said "the star wars show that doesn't exist" i knew you were talking about detours and i was instantly filled with terror

@FranciscoJGPCaballero 6 years ago

The greatest sin Disney committed against Starwars was making Droids non-cannon

Y'all aren't gonna mention how he said "I feel like they're too obsessed with their own lore" then went into a contextless skit referring to past videos? This man is a treasure
