Do you have a Bible at home, but don't know where to begin? Have you tried reading it and encountered difficult passages? In this broadcast, St. Jerome will help us take the first steps with confidence.

Based on his Letter to St. Paulinus of Nola, we will explore ten tips for approaching Sacred Scripture: read consistently, ask God for light to understand, seek Christ, accept help when needed, and avoid interpreting verses according to our own ideas.

These ten tips are a summary for this broadcast; St. Jerome did not present them as a numbered list. We will read passages from his letter and discuss how they can guide those who wish to begin today.

📖 Tell us in the comments: Which book of the Bible would you like to start reading, or which one have you found most challenging?
