It makes me giggle, all the people reading for class and hating this book. I got it for a book report, thought I'd hate it, and couldnt put it down. 🖤🖤🖤

Can anyone explain how a provincial young lady writing 200 years ago in a foreign country can still sound so contemporary and relevant to an American of the present day?

Honestly this voice acting and reading makes the story so much easier to pay attention to and get into. Thank you so much I wouldn't be able to read this by myself

I was an Air Force Brat living in England in 1957. I was 12 at my first reading. I spent most of that first reading whilst sitting in an apple tree. I have seen movies and I have re read Jane’s story so many times. I am now 78 and Jane and I are old friends. I hardly sleep so I listen to Ms Klett read. I may drift off, but I always come back to Jane’s rich story. Thank you, Ms Klett for doing such a fine job. I envy readers hearing ‘Jane Eyre’ for the first time.

I cannot believe that a record of book that usually takes me a minimum of two week many many hours, completes it in just 10 hours

What a gorgeous reading by Elizabeth Klett. I have memories of losing myself in this story as a child, in which I saw so much of myself. I was afraid no reading could do justice. This reading captures the loneliness, the anguish, the hope, the heart of Jane so well. Thank you.

Emphasis, tone and syntax all appropriate to Bronte’s prose. An absolutely wonderful reading the dramatisation was completely believable. A real joy. 🌻
