Love pacsafe! I'm not sure that these features are really anti-thief but they definitely make me feel more confident when I wear my backpack in crowdy places. And regarding this particular model - it's very light! Which is a huge cos for me!

I bought this bag after watching your review. Thanks.

I love Pacsafe. For the locking mechanisms there is a hole once the slider is across & I use a locking carabiner in that hole so no one can easily undo it or if I’m leaving it in hotel I use a small lock through it. Also the straps I use a mini locking carabiner so it’s even trickier for a potential clever thief 😊

My friend has pacsafe and ever since I’ve they’ve been in my radar

For RFID, you can purchase a reader and RFID tags for pretty cheap. Then just do the tests yourself to see whether it really works.

Whoever told you about RFID rays shooting out is misinformed. RFID chips in cards are passive, which means its the reader that sends out the signal to read the tags. The RFID sleeves work on the principle of a faraday cage, but if cage's holes are bigger than the wavelength used by the RFID tag/reader, then the waves will get through and the tag is read.

Its better to use an RFID blocking card, one that mimics an actual RFID card but with no real data. The signals get absorbed by the blocking card, so it doesn't reach your real card. You also get protection all the time rather than just in the bag.

I was JUST watching a video from you, talk about timing.

Pretty good locking mechanism. Would be nice to see if it's possible/easier to slip on a bag lock on there, if pacsafe is all about security then I'd imagine this would be the case. Not for me personally, but the lock mechanism is cool - and now I wanna order some RFID card sleeve haha

For some reason I went down the edc rabbit hole and ended upwatching your videos 😅. Reviewing the Pelican PX25 Aegis backpack? 🤞🏽

Your iphone notification sound in the video made me think it was my phone, took me a while to figure out the sound was from the video and not my phone. Loved the review, but maybe ditch the notification sound.

Italy and most European countries have a lot of pickpocketers 💯 #TheUglyTruth

I don’t need the security stuff but I do like that back zipper pocket for passports! That’s rare to see I think? Anymore bags that have that feature ?

@kboy5189 1 year ago

Why do you think RF id protection should keep the RF id inside a enclosure? 🤔🤣

CHZ22 soon?

Have you been to Brazil?

@todaysgrailtomorrowsbeater 1 year ago

If you're hitting Brazil without a double compartment 18L heritage bullet from Goruck in dark oak, then what are you even doing with your life, man?

I thought you said you were going to provide a link showing where you ripped up a PacSafe a year or so ago? I don't see the link... thanks for making the video. Until you have been robbed or seen pickpockets in action, none of this is important.
