Hello dear friends, welcome to Kalinka's kitchen!
On the agenda today: preserving minced meat in a jar - a simple supply with versatile uses.
Preserving minced meat in a jar is a simple method of creating a versatile supply. Whether spread directly from the jar on bread, fried for sauces or cut into cubes and added to soups - the possibilities are numerous.
Here I present my version of how you can preserve minced meat in a jar.
Good luck trying it out!
Ingredients:
1 kg minced meat of your choice
15 g rock salt or curing salt
100-120 g fat (e.g. Flomen) as required
Spices to taste: pepper, paprika (hot), meat seasoning
Preparation:
1. Mix the minced meat thoroughly with the salt, fat and spices.
2. Prepare the jars cleanly and fill the minced meat evenly. Make sure to leave a rim of about 2 cm free.
3. Close the jars carefully.
4. Then put the jars in a preserving pan and boil at 100 °C for 120 minutes.
Storage:
Keep the preserved jars in a cool, dark place. If stored correctly, they will last for at least 1 year.
Have fun making it and good luck! 😊
