When you think about Ancient China, the first thing that probably comes to your mind is its many Dynasties and Emperors, and the dynastic cycle that weaves it all together, as dynasties rise and fall. However, this China isn't actually all that ancient at all. In fact, Dynastic China only ceased to exist a little over a hundred years ago. But, after the fall of the Qing Dynasty, one man pushed for the revival of China's traditional dynastic system, and nearly succeeded. So, what if that changed? What if, in an alternate timeline, instead of a Republic, China had established a new Dynasty?
