We're doing it again! ๐บโค๏ธ We're back in Sri Lanka for another Sri Lanka tuk-tuk road trip, and this time, our old friend Ravanan is coming along for the ride! - A Malayalam Travel Vlog by TinPin Stories
If you remember our 2022 Sri Lanka tuk-tuk adventure, you already know how much fun we had exploring the island in our own three-wheeler. We loved that journey so much that we decided to rent a tuk-tuk again and travel around Sri Lanka at our own pace.
Our journey begins in Bengaluru, where we board a flight to Sri Lanka. After landing at Bandaranaike International Airport near Negombo, we get a local SIM card, exchange some US dollars, book a PickMe ride and head to our Airbnb. Finding the place turns out to be a little adventure of its own!
After some much-needed rest, it's finally time to collect our tuk-tuk from TukTukRental. And guess what? We're calling it Ravanan, just like our previous tuk-tuk!
The tuk-tuk rental process in Sri Lanka is fairly straightforward. After completing the booking process, we get a basic driving lesson and a quick theory session before getting ready to hit the road. Since we've driven a tuk-tuk here before, it doesn't take us too long to get back into the groove.
And just like that, our new Sri Lanka road trip begins! From exploring the island in a tuk-tuk to discovering local food, beautiful landscapes, hidden places and unexpected stories along the way, we can't wait to see what this journey has in store for us.
