I hope the akuma pseudo weapon was like a beta test for an actual fist type weapon in the future. Like gilgamesh, beowolf, or balrog from dmc or something like that

Man I can’t wait for Akuma to get their Bossted bracer trailer then challenge the flagship and final boss of Ascendance as Akuma! Using the Apexes against each other was an excellent strategy, almost like a cool 3 way battle with a tiny bit of jumping. Had Rey survived to the end, they could have had their rematch with Arkveld.

Hopefully Ascendance brings another cool playing style like Akuma but improved so it stays active until you click it again.

Overall great hunt, you definitely tried your hardest considering it’s the hardest quest in the game; hopefully you get them next time 👍

Akuma is the reason I stopped playing Monster Hunter. Specifically because it had me craving new weapons, like the Tonfas from one of the other Monster Hunter games.
