The room is on its way and looking cosier. Your painting is absolutely gorgeous! You are so talented. Well done.

Your hydrangea will be fine in a pot OUTSIDE, be nice in your garden, use acid soil to keep blue. Xx

You're doing a great job. If you need to keep your tv unit for now, you could consider putting a skirt around it. Another idea I got from another person, was to place a large picture in front of the screen. I did this and really love it.

see how the books look without the covers on. I always buy ones that are neutral under the dust covers. (think I might have to get The new English style
one!)

If you know the table brand check out how it was finished, some are oiled some waxed or varnished but a light sand and treatment and it will be beautiful again, it's good to recycle good quality furniture. Look out for old Laura Ashley catalogues I'm sure you'll love them for inspiration she was the original creator of the classic cottage or English country house style but in a modest way. Pattern, pictures and flowers brings the room to life, good luck with your homemaking!
