カナダのうちのあたりは野良犬は見かけませんが、野生の動物は本当に気を付けなければと思いました。
筋肉注射で非常に痛かったです。
狂犬病も怖いですが、私はタイで２回もデング熱になりました。🦟
私からすればやはりデング熱の方が怖かったです。ちなみに旦那は、タイ人で50歳ですが、デング熱になったことないです。
デング熱では、5日間入院して保険無しで 6万バーツくらい支払いました。😢
タイに来られる際にはホント気を付けて下さいね。
お話の状況から想像したのですが。
お寺の方が飼ってる犬ではなく、お寺の近くを縄張りにしてる犬と、時々、餌をあげたり世話をしてる、近所の人じゃないかな…と思いました。
あと、たぶんですが、寝てたところ、不自然な動きと、人が動く音聞こえて、犬がビックリしたのかな…と。
機嫌が悪い犬もいますが、だいたいはビックリさせるキッカケがあって、吠えられるパターンが多いなと、思います。
とにかく目を合わせない、無視する、犬を意識すると、犬もこっちを気にする。または遊んでくれると思って近づいてくるので。。。
早くの回復を願うばかりです。きっと病院にて手当をされていると思うけど、彼にもこの狂犬病免疫グロブリンのことお伝えさせていただきます。
私の妻は、そんな犬を救済し保護し病気や怪我を治療するボランティア活動をミンダナオ島でしています。
だから、妻の実家や自宅には片脚の無い犬や病弱な犬が何匹もおりますよ。
現在は、２０人ぐらいのメンバーで施設や自宅に合計３０匹ぐらいが保護されている。
動物病院で治療やワクチン接種💉💉💉する資金もボランティア仲間が出し合っています。
実は私が昨年の7月に足を滑らして転倒し左脚を2箇所複雑骨折した原因が、脚を無くした犬がトイレに間に合わずに床のビニールシートの脇にに垂れ流した尿でした。
まぁ、狂犬病に感染した犬に噛まれるよりはなんぼかマシですかね(苦笑)
そういえば私の知人もボストンで誰かの飼い犬に噛まれて、幸い飼い主も後から現場にやってきたので、狂犬病の注射のお金を払ってもらったそうです。
うちのアメリカ人夫は犬に限らず、野生の動物に噛まれたら危ないと言っていました。ハイキングとか山登りなどする方々は野生の動物に遭遇するかもしれないので、何かあった時のために色々用意しておいた方がいいかもですね😱
