At 16 she started traveling and working a lot as part of Destiny’s Child-hence the “fears away line” -leaving her family and also later on seeing the crying of her mother and lying of her father and the “dreams away” is her still going out to work and create art while her family is breaking down(mom/dad divorce, j cheating, the elevator fight, miscarriage, and being away from her kids)-there is a drive to create and leave a legacy of healing. Some have said that now when she’s touring there are 16 buses for crew and equipment-so, she is still working on her music, her legacy, making sure that her future generations are healed, whole, and secure.

By 16 carriages, i think it's referring to how long she's been working in her career because Beyoncé has been in the music industry since she was a teenager so thats what i think she is hinting at

The beats that your talking about are an ode to “chain gang” songs as she trying to reconnect country to some of its black/African origins. There is an episode of the podcast Switched on Pop about it.

When she says 15 innocent was gone away. They were signed at age 15 and first single was released when she was 16. So the carriages are like the years of her life cause at 16 she had to leave her simple life behind

You should definitely watch the Lemonade Film to really understand Beyonce. It's a long movie but cements her as the greatest visual artist.

Beyonce just made a post on instagram basically insinuating that the backlash she got from her amazing COUNTRY song/performance of “Daddy Lessons” inspired the writing of her new album 😅 Makes me even more excited for it haha

There is hardly any modern country songs on radio that isn’t pop or trap or hiphop infused . Beyoncé’s 2 new singles are more country than country songs nowadays

The 16 Carriages that Beyoncé refers to are 1 for each of her 16 years when she left home to go on her musical journey. It's a clever metaphor for her baggage.

You're right about the your buses.. think of it as a western movie watching people traveling..all the carriages.. leaving what you knew.. into the unknown

I'd love to hear your reaction to the full album, start to finish!!

Do her other country songs, Texas hold em and Daddy Lessons

Renaissance was a house influenced album but I wouldn’t say it’s a purely house genre body of work.  I’m going to take a wild guess cowboy carter will also not be a purely country album just hearing the changes she implements in the last third quarter of both Texas hol em and sixteen carriages. Either way I’m looking forward how she utilises country as a genre.

16 years of her youth

Hope you keep reacting to B. Loved your reaction ❤

You should do more beyonce

For me , idt Beyonce is going to release songs that sound like every other country song out right now. So whether she goes back to vintage country, infuses it with her genre of pop, or whatever…I think she wants to experiment and create something different that what everyone already has access to (not that what’s out is bad lol)

It's tour buses and it's considered country rock. You would really enjoy Daddy's lessons. The acts are going back to genres that were started by African Americans... first act, house. The second act is country. Last but not least, the 3rd act will be  rock and roll. So you might get little nuggets in the previous act indicating the next act.

I watched both kids of this in Texas hold em. So, I  figured I would try to answer questions from both. Have an awesome fucking week...babes

The music was made in 2016, 16 years in the business.

Too, too many pauses. 👎
