There's a Digga D documentary about him once he got released. One of his conditions of parole (or release) was that he couldn't rap about certain topics so he had to get MAD imaginative with his puns and punchlines. Makes for great lyrics for sure

Scru one of the only US dudes who actually find out what shit mean and understands the bars. Instead of just getting hyped but really you know they ain’t even know what got said.
Respect to Scru fam. 🇬🇧

digga d has a behaviour control order which means he cant mention specific gangs, or events, thats why theres alot of double meanings

"I don't trap with melanin kids, the rumour, is Digga D is a groomer."
In the UK if you get people into illegal/bad activities your labelled a groomer. Digga was just stating he doesn't keep young black men around him when he's trapping, nor does groom young black men into trapping.

Also there are several forms of pigeon English across the world. London is dominated by Jamaican pigeon, formally known as Patois (pronounced patwa). In the last decade Nigerian pigeon has massively influenced black culture in London too, hence why it's so easy for you to understand. London is just mad multicultural bro.

Keep u the the good work. Big up from a fellow Nigerian.

Please do more Digga D, his more popular bangers are fire like Woi, Pump 101 (50 cent remix) and Chingy (it’s whatever)

The song that blew him up was Next Up - Part 1 which he referenced here

No Diet was his first solo mainstream hit, fire also

Bringing it back with AJ tracy is unreal you’d love it

Digga D often wears glasses since he is partly blind in one of his eyes from a knife attack. Lots of rumors about who did it, what is retaliation? A random guy? Nobody really knows besides Digga and the man who stabbed him but regardless he wears the glasses often to hide his scarred/lazy eye.

Hes not rapping about whipping up yola. Hes talking about how they cook food in prison using kettles and how hes fresh home but still using jail ways to get by.

Just an FYI, the reason he ended the first part of the Duppy with them sus bars is cause it's a reference to his legendary verse in Next Up

Bringing It Back - AJ Tracey & Digga D

@X.R.808 3 years ago

The reason he ended part 1 like that is because it was a throwback to his first major hit (Next Up Freestyle).

5:57 naw reactors do this a bunch for some reason, he isn’t saying if she lines him that’s what’s gonna happen. He said a girl DID line him, got killed and he feels no guilt. I think yall might think these are just bars for sounding good but a lot of the time they don’t seem to realize they’re talking about shit that literally happened
