I wonder how many of those "organ activists" are willing to apply that same standard to their favourite Disney movies....

Anime police? Did they finally get Truck-Kun

Where are her organs? In her stomach. You see the body is an amazing and freaky thing where so much of your organs can fit, like a clown car, in such a small area like your stomach.

Instructions on looking like a male superhero unclear, ended up being The Incredible Bulk.

These people do not understand the difference between what's real and fake. They also couldn't find their ass with both hands.

No one complains about unrealistically muscular men. Even men love that ish.

It's the problem of self esteem, people with low self confidence are getting offended by someone being prettier than them, including the art etc, they just hate others and want to take them down

This is one of the many reasons why gatekeeping the anime community is important.

Boys see Hulk: "I'm this one" --> jumps as far as possible
Men see Hulk: "I'm this one" --> jumps as far as possible

And yet here we are watching vtubers♥.. who's stopping us now?

I think a lot of people aren’t old enough to know the origins of this attitude.

See, back in the 80s and 90s, the attitude of most people shifted to “Sexism is over! Everyone is equal!”. The messaging was very much “People in the past used to mistreat women. Now most people don’t but there are still some jerks who do. Just don’t be one of them.”

This caused a weird backlash that started in the late 90s where women felt insulted that most people were declaring sexism over. Sure, it was considered horrible to insult women or to abuse them. All very overt sexism was shunned by society…but what about subtle sexism?

This came about because there was a new philosophy that was seeping into society. There was a growing belief in subconscious programming. There isn’t a lot of proof that it is real but a couple studies suggested it MIGHT be and suddenly everyone believed in it. The idea being that if you saw or heard something enough you would believe it. There was no way to stop it from happening. This is when the word “normalize” started being used all the time. The concept being that if you saw sexy women all the time that you’d think that’s all they were good for. It doesn’t matter if you were completely respectful of women, if you saw enough sexy ones your opinion would change. And since it was subconscious, it was unavoidable. Your conscious brain can’t stop it from happening.

That’s when the feminist movement started focusing on subtle sexism extremely hard: “How could someone growing up in a society where they saved helpless women in video games and saw sexy women in comics possibly respect women since media was brainwashing them to think of them in this way?” And there was no way to stop the brainwashing since educating them didn’t work. Education only worked on the conscious brain not the subconscious. The only way to avoid this from happening was making sure no one saw the images in the first place!

That started the downward slide we are still in. It is why you see so many people talking about “depicting positive situations” in media. It is why you’ll see people argue that black people can never be villains because everyone will associate negative feelings with them or that women can never lose a fight since people will think they are weak.

It is all rooted in this weird idea that seeing things permanently changes our opinions no matter how opposed we are to an idea, no matter how unrealistic it is or how much we know it is just fiction.

If western twitter thinks the first image is controversial, I am fucked.
Anway, the art style reminds me of early 2000s superhero comics.

I do not miss dealing with the "art police."

Patrick: Take it easy, it’s just a drawing -_-

W crash out video Zai, this was quite valid XD :_laugh:💜🔥

6:03 Bruh, that entire twitter thread was full of fuckin' necromancers lmao "WHERE ARE THE ORGANS!"

So if a woman says "I hate men" I'm insecure for taking offense, but if I say "I hate women" then I'm a villain? These people are so privileged that it hurts

Edit: I still think it's stupid for anyone to hate an entire gender for the stupidity of a few.

W patrick its sad when a cartoon character is calling real people out thats got to be humiliating.

In the attempt to eradicate the "male gaze," they forget about the "female gays."

Seriously, growing up reading comics, that image of Medusa (Marvel - Inhumans) is tame in comparison to others.

And here I was thinking that art was fantasy and that women come in all form and sizes 😅😝 good reaction as always dear keep up your good work 😊
