I WAS WAITING FOR YOU TO REACT TO THIS SHOW ALANA
(make sure to also react to The Ramparts of ice, it has the same author and season 2 will air around the fall season)

@laundryday9944 2 months ago

15:48 don’t worry about it. Gapacho is everywhere, like god

These 2 main characters are the greenest flags ever, you would love them so much

I only just NOW realized: 20:20 When Tani pulled her in like that and told her he loved her, that was the EXACT SAME THING that Sudaken did that she was gushing about at the beginning of the episode! I don't know if Tani heard her say that, or if it was just him being awesome though...

You need to also watch Ramparts of Ice. It’s by the same author.

PLEASE REACT TO THE RAMPARTS OF ICE !!

I recommend the manga writer's other anime adapted show The Ramparts of Ice. It takes place in the same universe of You and I Are Polar Opposites, but it's a more dramatic tone.

This anime is a very well crafted masterpiece. The plot and the characters flow so naturally, they are all fleshed out and the more you know about them the more it makes sense to see them act the way they do. Nothing feels forced and nobody is defined by their archetype.

This is one of those rare anime where the MCs are good but the side characters are what really carries the show IMO

I love that you're watching this Alana!! I hope after you react to it you can get to the author's other anime that's airing this season, it's The Ramparts of Ice.

Better late than never. This show is such a masterpiece. I know that in recent years, we've gotten a lot of "fluffy" and sweet romance drama/comedies but those others I usually fall off and lose interest pretty easily. Despite the predictably positive vibes this series has, it never fails to put a smile on my face.
