Very helpful video. I received my A7RV about 6 weeks ago and LOVE it! I actually sold my a1 with NO regrets! Tracking is amazing. Picture quality is amazing, For some reason, this is the 1st digital camera where I frequently use the crop mode. As you mention, even with Crop mode and a little additional cropping in post you end up with a very good image for the internet or a high quality 8x10 print.

I bougth the Sony A7RV this summer, because of a very good offer with cashback and trade-in of my old Sony A7RIV. The Sony A7RV are excellent, the only downside are the fully articulating screen which makes is thicker and more heavy then my old A7RIV, I can highly recommend this Camera (and the A7RII/A7RIV). About Lens, I had the Sony 200-600mm 5.6-6.3 G Lens, but it is not easy to operate and handle, it is big and heavy and there are issues with the IBIS. So I got the excellent Sigma 500mm 5.6 DG DN OS Sports Lens, which are compact and light weight, easy to handle and operate, I can highly recommend it.

How is the camera live screen being demonstrated without touching the buttons?

I have the A7RIV with the 100-400gm with a 1.4x converter. Love the combo

What else do you want to see from the A7Rv? Sport?! Let me know, I'll make it happen

I have Nikon Z6III + 180-600 for birding and wild-life. Amazing camera and the lens but low megapixels and weight are the issues (esp the weight). I am 57 now and although I can shoot with some ease but its not going to be the same in future so thinking of some light weight setup. Will A7R5 + 100-400 solve the purpose? Also how long does it take to denoise the image in lightroom? Will a Windows laptop be sufficient to handle the processing?

It should be "the king of GOOD WEATHER wildlife photography" :)))

Great camera but theres also a tonne of issues to work around - same as every other camera for wildlife photography. I prefer M43 as you basically only compromise low light and depth of field in certain scenarios. Everything else is banging

Would love to see how it performs in video ☺️

Great content, I would love to see a long form content. Just you composing and shooting

Frame rate is too slow for fast action. 10 fps vs 20 fps will likely cost you many money shots. Also, for wildlife, there is really no substitute for getting close.

I have the a7riv which I love, but I definitely wouldn’t mind the video, screen, and autofocus updates.

I have had the camera week and love it. I didn't need it but I wanted it for megapixels. I stepped up from the A7iii which I have only had for a year. It is a huge upgrade and I love it. I see you have a video using the 1.4 teleconverter. Unfortunately I bought the 2x converter for the 3 and was disappointed with the focusing. Is there a chance you will be testing the 2x converter on the V? This video helped me a lot. I am a retired hobbyist so I had to research the back focus setting before changing it. I also would love to see more in depth videos on wildlife shooting. Thank you!

I know this is older video, Im pretty new to Photography I love to get birds in flight and am realizing that this isn't the top camera for this but can be done with the blackout from the shutter. What do you do to help with this? I seem to be having a hard time tracking i have the sony 200-600. say you are 25 yards away art you going the full 600mm or do you pull it up some. Anyways thanks for your time and great pictures. Any tips would be appreciated thanks again
