i don't usually comment on videos but i've been watching (and re watching) tons of your videos the last few weeks and the way you explain and talk about style and the different pieces makes soooo much sense to me. some of the other style youtubers have been fun and informative but i didn't realize it wasn't really clicking for me-- kind of like, i understood what they were saying but i didn't GET it. watching you break down the look with the mini skirt and trench coat and that you were drawn to the various lengths was like putting words to something i could NOT figure out myself. i'm not sure on my three words yet, but that revelation on lengths has led me to realize I like to dress a little coy. i am so glad to have found your channel-- the exercises, the GRAPHS, and the systematic way you explain things is so delightful and i feel so inspired lately about my own closet. sorry for the super long comment, but i just wanted to say i appreciate you sharing your videos. hope the new job is good and you are doing well! xx

This is BRILLIANT! It makes so much more sense, particularly when your style isn't one-note (and I think most people's style isn't).

The concept of having a set of words for my items and another for my outfits or styling is very helpful to me! Thank you 😊

Your videos could never be too long. 2 hours? 5 hours? 8 hours? I'm in!!!  It would be interesting, informative, helpful and definitely a nice way to spend my evenings or weekends 😉 ❤

I love the revision of thinking about words for shopping and then words for styling. Great ideas!

While making the video, I kept having a-ha moments and I couldn't wait to share! Let me know if you found this new method helpful!

This was the most useful video on style that I have seen in a while!

A lace cami instead of a corset or bralette is a revelation! When you said that, it was like a light switch went off. I have so many lace trimmed camis, and now I will use them when the inspiration photo calls for a bralette or corset! Thank you Mili 😂

Oh wow! Mili, you are a genius. I am so excited to start a deep dive into this method. I look at the outfits I am drawn to on pintrest and think I love it, but I can't pull that off. Now, I realise it's certain elements that draw my eye. Thank you so much. I don't need to shop, just get more creative with what I already have, yayyy. Thank you so much 🖤💜🩶💙💓🤍

OMG thank you!!!!❤ I finally understood what I look for in clothes and style. Because when you just follow a certain style or aesthetic that you like, it puts you in a box. "I'll buy this because it's in this style, and this isn't". But this method forces you to look beyond style to find your meaning in things where you find your unique style.

This makes so much sense. I kept getting asked what my "3 words" were I kind of just went with feminine/unique/relaxed. But yeah, Soft works so much better since that applies to fabrics & cuts more than "feminine" does. I also consider practical things like heel height & too thin of straps (I have to wear a bra) or dry cleaning or how functional the bag will be. Our styles are very different but our words & thought processes are very similar. ( I lean a little more vintage inspired & boho) Thank you!

I've watched a lot of fashion content about finding your personal style, and more specifically, finding your 3 style words. After about 1 year or trial and error and adding and removing words, I came up with 3 words that I feel most confident about (elevated, relaxed, dramatic). But your video, and the process you walked us through, is truly unique and illuminating. Something clicked when you made the distinction between style words that refer to individual items vs *the whole outfit*. I also opened Figma and added 5 photos that resonated with me and began to deconstruct them. I had a lot of aha moments! This procress you outlined truly rewards those that put in the effort. Thank you for sharing and I'm looking forward to more fashion videos from you!

this was so useful thank you! i spent so long trying to figure out my 3 words and with this video and doing the exercises I narrowed it down to comfortable, enveloping, and textured. yay!

Oh yes!  You have done it!  Now MY work begins. Thank you ❤

This was SO helpful! I also could tell how excited you were to share your discoveries! Great job!!❤

Great method! ❤

I’ve been working with three style words and it’s going really well: Tasteful, 60s-Inspired and Quirky.

But, I can totally appreciate how separate banks of words could be helpful. I, too, have discovered that contrast is a huge factor in loving or hating an outfit.

I’m looking forward to Part 2

wowwww, super useful!!! I see that you probably work a lot with this, thank you very much!!! logical, detailed and clear messages. Now I know more about stylistic features.

Great approach ❤ very helpful. I was surprised by finding out my 3 word with your exercise: Relaxed, Elongated, Soft. And these words are really relatable to my style. Thank you so much ❤❤❤

You look AMAZING in that jacket!
