Maine Congressman Jared Golden announced last year that he will not run for reelection to represent the 2nd Congressional District. Now, the race for Golden's seat in the U.S. House of Representatives is down to State Auditor Matt Dunlap (D) and former Gov. Paul LePage (R). Both candidates participated in a debate hosted by Maine's Total Coverage on Oct. 1, 2026.
