How much money do you really need to stop working?
I'm 34 years old, have around €200,000 invested, and a goal: to reach 40 with enough wealth to be independent.
In this video, I'll do the math right in front of you.
We start with the actual cost of living, apply the famous 4% rule, see what happens if we lower it to 3%, and simulate some less appealing scenarios: inflation, a bad decade in the stock market, buying a house, or retiring just before a major crash.
I'll also show you my real-life situation: how much I currently have, how much I'm still investing each month, and what return I would need to approach €500,000.
And finally, we'll talk about something that, for me, is even more important than financial freedom: financial dignity.
Not necessarily having to stop working, but being able to work because you want to, not because you absolutely need to get paid at the end of the month.
👇 Tell me in the comments:
How much money would you need to be able to say, “I don’t need to work anymore”?
📌 This video reflects only my personal experience and opinions. It does not constitute financial advice.
