You could just install a rubber blade an inch lower in front of your steel blade and you can't hear it hit the pavement. It will make your steel blade last a hell of a lot longer too! And it works like a squeegee on your concrete driveway when the snow starts to melt.

Great informational video. Bought a new stainless vxt and it dropped way to fast and hard for my liking. Adjusted and now it’s perfect. Thanks!

Great info and demo! Thank you.   Going to reduce the standard drop speed of my 8.6 Fisher XV2 so it doesn't jar the truck so much.

Yes, To slow down the angling speed of a straight blade plow, an orifice disk can be installed below the angle valve. FAQ 04 explains what part numbers you may need and where to install. To access this document please visit the BOSS website:  bossplow.com/support/faqs

This doesn't work for mine. I have a 7'6" straight blade with the smarthitch. I went to do this with the tools and its empty inside there, the locking nut does turn but i do not see any result.

does drilling a larger hole in the orifice void any warrenty?

Is there a video on how to adjust the hydraulic pressure? I have a 3 year old boss HTX that lifts slowly or not all the way up.

any way to change the drop speed on a Boss V Plow for ATV?

Is there a way to adjust angle speed, our plow can be a little jumpy at times when angling
