I remember the moment I realized I was a terrible rapper and a better producer😅😅😅 this resonates with me so much brother.

I remember speaking to another producer who wants to be a singer, but unfortunately, he was a terrible singer, but an amazing songwriter and a phenomenal producer. Eventually, he figured it out and started writing songs and producing for others so it worked out for him, but sometimes you need to be told and others need to be told that they don’t have the whole package for what they think they should be doing, when they have a brilliant set of skills for what they can actually do.

I thought I wanted to be a producer, but I really enjoy engineering more. It's easier to fix something thats not right vs creating something from nothing.

Act like im rich was a hit😂

I used to rap when I was 12-15 years old, & I quit bc I wasn’t good, & everybody wanted me to be about how good my life positive stuff like my parents & my gf…no. They way I did it, it was corny & too surface level. Now my bestfriend, who’s also my artist, still tries to force me to rap on his projects, even after I tell him no. 😂😂 but no. Even as a producer, nobody really wants to work with me bc apparently my beats are “too sad”. But idc. I jus took my beats away & started puttin out instrumental albums, & if somebody tries to rip the beat, they finna get the head ripped off wit legal fees.

Did the same ! When a friend told me I sounded like a rapper I didn't like ! I droped the mic! Eheheheh it is what it is! 😂

Bolo Da Singer 😂 🎤 we need a R&B album

I started a beat boxer/rapper. One of the best in the Tri county of South Florida. Then started DJ’n and let another dude handle the rapping and we got a contract. I put the mic down at around 18. Then I had a small studio for us and did a track for a friend with me trying to sing. I got clowned for days then one day he called and said hey man that song you did is tough. Can I sing it? Let him sing it and he said join our group. All I knew was making boom bap beats but this was new Jack. No studio had that sound and I had to learn what Teddy Riley, Baby face was using. Then when I got that I had to be the one sitting in the studio making sure those rock studios didn’t kill us in reverb… that did. At that point all I wanted to do was make beats and engineer. Over the years I just rather engineer… but my beats still on point but people can hear my beats sound damn good for bedroom production

Possible unreleased 2000s bolo mixtapes? 😮

This is knowledge and wisdom at its finest💯

just keeping it it real is enough

Well I’m a better rapper than a producer. But I’m not trying to make it mainstream just underground or independent been doing it 20 years.
