Hey guys! This is a REPOST! There have been a few visual instances that got the previous upload down, just a few small ones, so not much was removed! Enjoy! Also Rocky 4 tomorrow! Hope you'll rewatch Airplane! with me, re-runs are great (:

"I want one ticket to Chicago, no baggage."

Dude ain't nothin' but baggage.

11:35.   DID YOU KNOW....KAREEM ABDUL-JABBAR was not only a star player for the Lakers, but he was also one of Bruce Lee's kung fu students.

14:03 I always understood the joke differently, but today, I learned the real story behind it! Apparantly, there was an ad campaign for a Yuban coffee that ran with that format, with mostly wives/girlfriends being surprised their guys would ask for a second cup (in whatever setting they were in away from home) when they never did at home. By some luck, this actress actually stared in one of those ads, but the production had no idea! Once she learned what the role was specifically, she kept quiet about it out of fear she would be removed from the cast, but in the end, both the production and Yuban itself never said a thing!

The great thing is, the movie uses the parody in such a way that the joke still lands even without that context, especially with the way it keeps escalating!

Zoey had one of the best reactions to AIRPLANE on the Internet. She is one of the few people that laughed when the old woman hung herself. Most people, especially the younger ones, are more horrified by this insanely funny scene; but not our Zoey. She got the humor immediately. The only jokes she missed are the ones that are dated and most Americans reacting to this movie miss those as well. She reacted to every type of American comedy, slapstick, play on words, absurdity, and outrageous scenes like the 2 kids having coffee. Her facial expression at that scene are worth $1 million. It took her a few seconds to get the humor at what the 9 year old girl said, but you could tell she got it. Zoey may not have sure what to do with what the child said, but she got the comedy. I really enjoyed watching AIRPLANE again with Zoey. She really is the best. 😊😅😂❤

BTW Zoey, Jive is an invented language that grew out of the Jazz era in the 1920s. It was popular among jazz musicians through most of the 1980s. It has since then mostly faded into history. There is an old American expression, "Don't jive me," which means don't 🐂💩 me or don't lie to me.

As a fun fact: the announcers at the beginning were the actual announcers at LAX. They were married IRL and their lines were ab libbed! Also, Stephen Stucker (Johnny) wasn't given a script and all of his lines were ab libbed

I promise not to call you Shirley, one of your best reactions. One of my 3 favorite comedy’s

Good luck Zoey. We’re all counting on you.

The sequel has some recycled jokes but is still funny.  Behind the scenes  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bNwQpkQcsQw&t=19s

There are so many jokes in this movie that you can never get them all but you will always laugh at some of them.

Hyped ❤

Its amazing how much the music affects this movie.

One of the very best comedy movies ever made!  Thanks for the reaction!

Happy to watch again Zoey as a very funny movie 😂 looking forward to your Rocky 4 reaction ❤

Alright, I'll putana my seatbeltz, push the Hype and get ready for the second Airplane ride🛩🥳 ❤❤

34:35 The chief said to "check the radar range." The Amana RadarRange was an early brand of microwave oven.

Great reception, one of the best comedies in history, an iconic movie.

all time great comedy. Glad you had fun watching it! I even showed this movie to my grandma a long time ago, she though wouldn't like it but ending up loving it 🤣

Enjoyed your reaction, and credit for the editing!🙂
