Hey, lvl 10 player here, playing since march 2015.
Just a friendly reminder to every viewer that would read this : this tier board is legit, but if you don't recognize yourself fully in one archetype, don't worry ! I'm a lvl ten player described here, and I don't have thousands of plat farmed through the game, I don't have the perfect riven on my main stuff, I just enjoy playing without getting too much into this. I know how to do these things, I tried, it's not my fit, and yet I am 100% exactly what's describe for the rest here. Consistently inconsistent (in a weird way : I play sometimes every day for 3 hours for 2 weeks then hop off the game to play something else during a few weeks before coming back, or sometimes I will do multiple games a day with a few sessions on warframe or not, and sometimes I will get hyped again by the game and play it 8 hours per day for a month. It only depends on what's new AND my mood. My mood means both how I feel about the game and how I feel about OTHER games. For instance, last week I almost didn't play warframe as I bought a new game that was so addictive, it was welcomed to have a little break from warframe. Last year, I burnt out after 3 years of that rythm, but that's because TennoCon and the trailer of the perita rebellion fueled me with so much hype I couldn't play anything else, so I rushed the nokko update, and when Perita came out I LOVED IT and farmed it for a week before burning out of the game and didn't play since until Follie was released. Then I hopped on the game, tried the farm for a few runs, then hopped off again until Jade Shadows 2, same thing then. I'm back in on the game since TennoCon as it fueled me with so much hype once more (less than previous year tho because I was expecting this update for like.. 10 years, now ? And I don't want to go burn out again before it comes out, so now I just do little things I left for later in the previous years, that changes me of the content I like but farmed so much I don't really want to play it anymore, and while doing this I try to play various warframes and weapon I didn't really dived into yet. And as I was an Excalibur main for 10 years and played mostly Nyx since 1999 (I waited for that rework for ever since I first played her), I have A LOT of warframes to explore. Now I know some of them are just not my thing, but there are only so many frames I enjoyed and want to give another try with deep diving into what could be fun to do with them.

Also, the LVL 10 players are player that usually are not the one doing the biggest damages and all. We can do this, we can have the meta build on a frame and weapons cause we got everything's needed for it. But we usually had a phase doing it and that is kind of boring now. Finding some niche fun thing to do with a frame that is (or not) supposed to do that more as a joke, for instance, can become a fun gameplay so much more pleasing to use everyday ! Big numbers are fun, crits with !!! in the end too, but wait till you put 5 yellow tauforged Archon Shards on your warframe + nullified gravity and can air dive for 10 seconds. Or until you realise you prefer to deal biggest damages with a support frame that's not supposed to do damages. Or even become a skateboard enjoyer that use it to burn rooms of enemies. Long story short : wait until you found your thing.
This game isn't about being the biggest DPS and do all the killing. I usually don't even try to achieve that, I leave that pleasure for the newer players, the ones that still have to go through that phase to actually get over it. I'm having way more fun playing a nyx that accidentally turned herself into Superman X pr.Xavier, crowd controlling, doing some big crit if needed but mostly jumping around just to improve my mobility AND dodge damages. Last time I tried to jump the further possible I could do in one single bullet jump + double jump, I crossed the entire fortuna map, and that made me feel like I couldn't go further in that stupid niche. And that's what I love with warframe : eventually, anyone who stayed here long enough end up being "that one guy who did that one thing with warframe", either it's an architect in a Dojo, a dumb runner like me that love to wait for gauss and volt players at the extract as nyx (seriously guys, hurry up ! xD ), or a fashionframe queen/king doing some insane captura. That one guy that took that specific frame to a point past WAAAAAY BEYOND dev's most insanes expectation (I know a mag player, he's the one I think of. He's just the original mag).

Whoever you are, you've got your personnal gameplay waiting for you on warframe.
And if your personnal gameplay doesn't look like what's describe in this vid, don't worry bro : you're still a tenno, and these level means nothings, just as mastery ranks ;)

This is actually so accurate lol I’d consider myself between 9 & 10

Hearing you talk about the mastery rank noob really reminded me of a certain someone I know. Got absorbed back into Warframe a few months back because I had friend group getting into it for the first time. Or rather it was a cousin's spouse and a bunch of people he knew that I was newly acquanted with through him. Anyway, they eventually got my uncle, his father in law into the game, he was mastery rank 21 in a month, higher than I was across years of taking breaks and returning to the game (I was mastery rank 16 when this play group started, though honestly already at least a level 8 player by your standards). He burnt out at 21 though and it's been 5 months.

Had no idea I was level 10 until you said the riven thing. I do like to gamble

When I was a teen on my highschool time y met this game and felt in love, I wasn't the highest mastery rank, but I was very knowledgeable about the game, then I quit and had to start from a new account and as an adult that doesn't have too much time to play it's kinda hard to keep playing, but damn nostalgia hitted really hard on me that's why I returned (I quit when wisp was the last frame released) and got really surprised with the amount of content

got 3.9 hours in blind and already hooked on the game, genuinely loving the movement

I have never been offended by a video that is absolutely so accurate.

8:04 and then once they come back they get free 75 discounts 😛

Watching this video made me realize I did most of these stages in like a week

I was a level 6 player, spent 200 hrs on the game bcs i loved it. I finished most of the story and completed the base start chart, but got burnt out after that and took a year and a half break. Now I'm even more hooked into the game, currently sitting at about 580hrs and still climbing strong

i feel like i'm a level 10, though i usually end up still grinding out the new content rather than buying it outright. one thing i think got missed for level 10 is a significant amount of time spent in region chat or Q&A chat, helping newer players

This video was so nostalgic. Play for the first time when revenant released but only a yaer ago i reached level 7.
Now im level 9 and i finally realised that i will probably play this game forever lol <3

to me theres never any quitting everyone always dips their toes into warframe even if u have an hour or a little more
