These freaking "professionals" are scary as hell!!! Their ignorance is astounding!!!

This is horrific - every angle! The medical professionals failed this woman! They should be held accountable for their failure - and worse!

The fact that she said that she doesn't believe there's not evidence that ssris can cause suicidal or homicidal ideation in people over 24 is absolutely WILD. Every doctor ever tells you REGARDLESS of your age when starting an antidepressant that it's a possibility and to watch for symptoms and tell them immediately.

This is basic med school knowledge. How did she finished her residency?!

Hes tearing her up she dont knowcrap

Funny how when being questioned by reddington her whole demeanour was defensive. But as soon as the prosecutor asked her questions to validate her work, she perked up

I was put on zoloft, trazadone, and buspirone then moved to Lexapro, seroquel, and Xanax after being in a state and just not sleeping after my kids father was killed. First set of 3 didn't bring me down at all, I got worse. I was more paranoid, slept even less, cried even more, started to hallucinate here, and became terrified to leave the house, scared my kids. The 2nd set of 3, knocked me out to where I couldn't function at all. Would knock me out for 2 days minimum. Couldn't wake up to be a mother much less work. I don't know how this woman was even walking with all the meds she was supposed to be on.

I think it’s pretty clear that Dr Tuft was in over her head having been fresh out of residency. The bigger focus should be on how messed up our health care system in the US is. And the abundance of push from HC providers to schedule Tele health appointments ESPECIALLY for mental health services is simply unacceptable and negligent because YES, it DOES make a difference as far as the quality and thoroughness of the appointment experience for the patient AND how providers perceive affect and presentation.

Defending attorney raked Dr Tuffs over the coals. He also had done an amazing job poking holes and shows how messed up our mental health system is.   Completely disconnected.

Jesus Christ she’s a specialist in postpartum depression but doesn’t use the actual test to evaluate her patients…

People that tell you they don't want to be here, usually don't tell you their plan😞🙄

The defence lawyer is brilliant,  but I wish he would stay near the microphone.

Also.... she reported concern over addiction to Ativan and was told "no sweetie, it's only been two weeks so you're not "addicted", you're just "dependent"" 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️ So ....we didn't do anything wrong by prescribing a HIGHLY ADDICTIVE CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE... BUT... since you called me out in writing... just take it every other day and I won't repeat the script. Talk about STUPIDITY, irresponsible jibberish and an attempt at CYA. Are you kidding me??! Ativan IS physically addicting in as short as 2 weeks! Benzos are awful and horrific to withdrawal from. And depending on the dose and HER INDIVIDUAL needs - that might not have been an appropriate plan for withdrawal and she may have needed gentler tapering. There was nothing "individualized" about her care. It was cookie cutter crap. She was far too complex and part of their job is to recognize when they need to refer her on to someone more equipped. All of these ppl have colleagues they can consult with. The mental health history and negligence are undeniable and impossible to disregard.

The problem is that nobody was consulting with each other!! My doctors all had each others contact info and prescription information. This is nuts!!

All of those computer searches were done from Patrick’s computer using Patrick’s log in while Lindsay was at the Pediatrician’s office? So the CW thinks that is evidence against Lindsay? On what planet?!!!!!

The psychiatrist looks like she needs to be committed herself.

To say the Edinburgh Scale wasn’t used is insane. Attorney is right on the mark- if she had postpartum WHY would a doctor use a generalized assessment opposed to one created specifically for the diagnosis? The depression scale could be a tool but should not have been the exclusive scale used for a specific diagnosis.

Omg how many tablets was she actually on,absolutley ridicolous. Treated her like a animal being tested on.

Did Dr Tuff seriously imply that the only major difference between PPD and general depressive disorder is the timeframe it happens 😮!? I would definitely argue that there are some KEY differences between the two. It’s not just “depression that happens after giving birth”

I had postpartum depression with two of my children and was never given a evaluation that was specific to postpartum. It was and has always been the I9.
