Believe it or not, this interview sat in an archive room amid thousands of other tapes all this time, barely remembered. A new employee tasked with transferring old tapes to digital dug this up. The colors are compressed from the transfer, but our editor worked on the colors and we've posted that version as well (link is in the description). Most of the people working here did not even know who this man was. It has been so cool to hear people talk about seeing this interview when it first aired. We are continually working to see what else is hidden in our archive room.

Who’s still here in 2026 completely believing Lazar after all these years?

Bob's story has been consistent for decades. He doesn't embellish and is clear about what he experienced and what he did not.

The simple fact that Don Garlitz, a championship Top Fuel drag racer, interviewed Bob Lazar is absolutely wild

A body language expert, that has worked for large crime cases across the country, said about Bob Lazar , "hes either telling the truth, or the best liar ever". He doesn't show any signs of lying.

Back when podcasts were called interviews

Imagine having an affair on your husband because you think he’s having one, only to find out all this time he was working to reverse engineer an extraterrestrial craft that you thought was only a myth. Crazy

I like the fact that Bob is very careful about what he knows and what he is speculating on.

Who is here in 2092 after snorting some element 115?

I never get sick of listening to Bob Lazar, and have never doubted what he has said.

Thanks for posting this. I've seen most Lazar interviews, but this was new to me.

I've been a massive fan of NHRA drag racing since my parents took me to the drag strip in 1981. The voice of Don Garlitts is forever burned into my brain just like the first time seeing a top fuel car go down the track. I'm so beside myself hearing Mr. Garlitts conduct this interview with Bob Lazar. Always being interested with ufology since a young age this was a shocker. On a side note, I have an issue of drag racing magazine from 1986 that has a picture of me and Big Daddy holding a model of his super shops top fuel car that my grandfather built. I've been a Don Garlitts fan about 95% of my existence. This interview with Bob Lazar was a kick in the ass. It's nice to see your childhood heroes possibly have the same not so common interest that his fans have. I enjoyed the interview fellas.

Easy to keep a story consistent when you recall from memory.

Bob seems more relaxed and forthcoming with details in this interview than others I've seen. I for one believe him, especially considering the whistleblower revelations of recent times, which correlates with everything Bob said back in the 1990s.

All of Bob's interviews are liquid gold.

The thing that convinces me that’s he’s telling the truth is when he talks about the technical engineering of it, everything he’s saying is scientifically sound. The work that CERN is doing to observe antiparticles and locate gravitational waves now makes a lot more sense. We are trying to figure out how to make these ourselves.

Bob Lazar is one of the most intriguing whistle blowers to me and his claims seem to become more legitimate as time unfolds

45:40 I speculated that these small beings could be bio engineered for specific tasks and this description sounds really interesting as if it's almost the insides were built in most sufficient and simple way in order to be able to recover in the most difficult circumstances

Some one has to say it: Don Garlits is one eloquent and smart dude. Listen to the depth of the conversation and he listens and process the conversation before he asks the next question.

The "how fast does it go" answer might be the best part to make the whole story believable. "Fast" is relative to the observer. This is something that is someone were to just be bragadocious then they would spit out some very large number. However his explanation goes beyond ego, its much more matter of fact with a completely sensical answer.
