I traveled from Toge Station—a remote, secluded station in Yamagata—to Namegawa Onsen "Fukushimaya," a solitary hot spring inn nestled deep in the mountains.
Toge Station, located on the Ou Main Line, is known as a "secluded" or remote station situated deep within the mountains of Yamagata Prefecture.
Venturing even further into the mountains from there brings you to Namegawa Onsen "Fukushimaya," a secluded inn boasting its own hot spring source.
With a history spanning over 200 years, Fukushimaya features three private hot spring sources and offers a superb bathing experience, with no added water, heating, recirculation, or disinfection.
This is a relaxing solo hot spring trip, traveling from a secluded station to a secluded mountain inn.
