Coachella people have lost the plot dudes! Idk if they even ever knew that that festival was started by Pearl Jam to combat the overpriced tickets and monopoly that was ticketmaster,at the time. It was an alt rock festival with reasonable prices for food and merch and even free water lol. Now its full of whiny influencers and multi million dollar brands and the worst of the worst in overconsumption and capitalism lol.  100% over it!!!! If I never hear the word Coachella again... Ill be richer for it lol.

Everything I've learned about Coachella I've learned against my will

Brands: we cant afford to pay our workers a reasonable income

Also brands: gives freebies to the most privileged people on the planet

“Arseless, backless, pantless neon dungarees” made me laugh out loud 🖤

I live in a "third world" country. A "first world problem" is something that is not a genuine problems and basically manufactured because the person wants to feel victimized. It's something people experience as a "problem" because they don't have "real" problems. A professional engagement that falls through because the partner company didn't hold up their end and won't be held accountable because they have more resources is a problem we're very, very familiar with in the "third world." This woman got contracted in a professional capacity and the employer didn't hold up their end. It's a very "real" problem.

I went to Coachella in 98 for the MUSIC. Everything that Coachella is now is the exact opposite of why the event was started 🤦‍♀️

Just hearing about Coachella exhausts me so I can’t even imagine what it’s like being there

Coachella is the annual meeting of the international association of online narcissists

Being packed two weeks ahead of time is a level
Of preparedness I aspire too. I’m leaving for a work trip tomorrow morning and haven’t even done laundry.

You're right, nobody's said anything about being excited to see a certain person or band playing at Coachella. Just talked about brands not paying for the trip.

Coachella was inspired by the concert  that Pearl Jam had in the Coachella Valley in protest to Ticketmaster's monopoly and rising fees! They even spoke to congress about it. The company that helped them produce the concert started Coachella. I would have wanted to go to a concert like this. Too bad I was too young and not in the US during this time.

Now Coachella is exactly the opposite of what Pearl Jam was protesting in the 90s!!!!!!

Idk. A brand not having enough money to get this off the ground? If this is actually true, I think she dodged a bad, chaotic weekend. This would have been a nightmare.

Coachella is sooo overhyped. influencers ruined it.

Influencers need to stop thinking they’re movie stars. I think it’s hilarious.

I’ve literally never ever heard of any of these “influencers” lol

I would've gone to Coachella if it was still early 2000s Coachella. When you could drive up, buy tickets and camp.

Todays Coachella however is just disgusting.

It's no longer a festival, it's a rich persons exclusive event.

I hate when people say, “That’s just a first world problem.” So??? People can’t be upset when something goes wrong for them?? I dunno, it feels insensitive and out of touch. Every human being feels emotions, damn.

Influencer hands drive me insane!! 😖

Im tired of hearing people whine about Coachella every year and the amount of bragging/begging that goes on with it. However I can sympathize with this creator on how frusterating it would be to be cancelled on 2 days before. She didn't seem greedy, or snarky or braggy really just genuinely excited to go. Im always hear to watch the tea though with you Robert! ❤

I live down the road from Coachella.. nothing but garbage comes to town and we all can't wait for them to leave.
