We left Icoaraci, in Belém, crossed by ferry to Camará and continued to Salvaterra, where we had our first impressions of the world's largest river-sea island.

We talked to locals, tried some typical flavors, learned a bit about the region's history, visited the main beaches and discovered that Marajó has much more to reveal.
