A weekend camping trip in the Sierra de Arteaga mountains turned into a nightmare for sisters Natalia and Rebeca Jaramillo. They vanished without a trace, and when everyone presumed them dead, the forest revealed a terrifying secret: they were found three months later... alive, but tied to a massive pine tree in the middle of the harsh winter. The most chilling thing wasn't how they managed to survive the impossible, but their captor's motive. He wasn't demanding a ransom or seeking revenge; he simply wanted to use them as "laboratory rats" to see how much pain they could endure.

During the trial, the defense argued that the kidnapper suffered from a severe mental disorder, while he coldly justified his actions as a simple "scientific experiment." Do you think someone capable of observing human suffering in such a calculated and unempathetic way is truly mentally ill, or is he simply the embodiment of pure evil? Leave your comments below, I'll be reading them!
