DON'T LET NINTENDO SEE THIS, WE NEED TO HIDE THIS MASTERPIECE

This doesn't even look like it was made by fans, this looks like an actual Mario & Sonic crossover, and I am living for it.

Who would've guessed that a 3 minute video made by a stand alone animator would have better quality than 99% of the things we see from AAA Movie Animators today

Rest in peace Toriyama.
Thank you for all the inspirations.

This is the best fanmade CGI Mario animation I've seen in years

idk how to explain it, but i love how faithfully animated these characters are, they feel right at home.

It's amazing how official this animation feels.
Usually fan animations have a habit of going way too over the top with squash and stretch etc.
But this finds that perfect balance and looks like it could have been animated by Marza Animation.

Metal Sonic's aura farm is crazy 1:10 😂

If they remade this series it would LITERALLY make internet history I kid you not

Hit me right in the childhood. This animation was so well done you would think Nintendo and Sega's animators made it. Absolutely incredible.

This is not just art... It's a masterpiece. From the animation to the lighting and setting. You made one of the greatest 3d animation of super Mario bros z.

Toriyama really did so much to inspire even this of all things.

The way the models are modified to capture the original sprite art used is incredible. Bowser in particular, with the slightly larger head, and the posing, looks exactly how you'd imagine the classic GBA sprite in 3D. Using that particular running animation for Luigi was also a nice touch. These little additions made this really feel like Super Mario Bros Z instead of a generic 3D fighting video, which is important because the models are of such high quality that they almost just look like something Nintendo would put out. Excellent all around.

I would pay thousands of dollars to see an entire episode animated like that, this is beyond perfection, so freaking smooth.

This looks higher than high quality. This is basically industry standard; you could very much pitch a concept with this. I hope the animation team is proud of themselves. They deserve to make animated trailers and shows for a living with this level of skill!

EDIT: I was informed only one person did this animation. I assumed a small group/team did this. That further proves my point: Amazing work!

(Other edits: grammar)

Man now that the Olympic games are over, I hope we could get an actual Mario and sonic  crossover like this.

This is how every episode looked in my head as a kid... amazing job 😍👏

maybe the best fan animation of all time

If you tell me it's official, I completely believe you, an exquisite and spectacular adaptation taken to infinity, many of us who know the series definitely jumped with emotion with your magnificent work ❤💙

This low-key looks like a smash introduction who agrees
