We’ve changed a lot about the way we cruise over the years — and some of the things we used to do on every cruise, we simply don’t do anymore.

In this video, we’re sharing the cruise habits, upgrades, activities, and traditions we’ve stopped doing and why. From rushing to the buffet on embarkation day and booking long cruise-line excursions to playing blackjack, packing formalwear, using the cruise spa, attending art auctions, and trying to maximize every minute in port, our approach to cruising has changed.

We also explain why our priorities for cruise suites have shifted, why we no longer automatically choose the biggest suite, and why an aft cabin or suite with an amazing view can sometimes matter more to us than extra square footage.
