With the risk of being truly overwhelmed with grief losing my Mum, anticipatory loss of my16 year little dog also, MS exacerbated, being single and living alone,  terrible experiences with my only sibling, I listened to the familiar words of James and Pastor Sinclair reminding me of what is true... Jesus.  I am encouraged too by mention of Flavel's words as last few years have read ... I have a meeting with sister and lawyer Wednesday as executors and no community as have been primarily home bound.  Read Job twice through last months and felt comforted. The gift of this time has been to draw closer to Christ and so inadequate and yes increasingly aware of my sin and realizing His true grace and His mercy daily as I flounder feeling like a toddler rather than a 63 year old!  Thank you for what clearly has been given to me today.  I am awed by God whose embrace I feel in my tears, fears and looking at next steps as Elisabeth Elliott encouraged to take.  I even had a great relief of laughter Sinclair about the whiteness of the sand and your skin at the beach given my Irish and English ancestory I relate.  May God richly bless you as your faithful teaching and bringing the Word to life has blessed me and all who hear.

God brought this uplifting sermon to my room tonight just for me. Sinclair Ferguson delivered it so kindly and wisely,  the way he always does. Thank you. 🙏📖✝️🇦🇺

I sent this sermon to encourage a friend today and realize how much I needed to hear this. What a blessing. Thank you.

Joy in trials , preserve ,endure He has a plan ,trust Him

As we read in Acts14:22, saying; "We must through many tribulations enter the kingdom of God." Thank you so much for sharing ❤❤❤

If only I had heard this sermon twenty years ago!  Thank you for speaking so clearly and encouragingly.  The Lord has kept me.

So good! Thank you Dr. Ferguson! 🙏🏼♥️🙏🏼

Thank you for sharing these sermons; praise God for Allison's testimony and His faithfulness.

What a great, Great Message. Thank you for your insights

Thank you. This was very encouraging. God bless you all.

I'm asking for prayers for my mother. We lost my 17yr old niece last June to terminal melanoma. My family are not born again believers but I am going to share this with my mother in hopes that she watches it and God does something in her heart. I want my family to know Jesus personally and to surrender to His Will. I ask you Lord Jesus to please do a work in their hearts. Open their eyes and soften their hearts and bring them to full repentance. I pray this in Jesus name, amen!

Thank you Sinclair. I needed to hear this. Thank you thank you and thank you Jesus my saviour.

An  powerful testimony by that young women. She honestly  confessed that she struggled with the Lord concerning her affliction, just as Job had.

Such a blessing to have stumbled upon this.

The trials remain but God's hand is evidently clear.

Amen! Thank you! 🙏🕊✨️❤️

You dont know me from Eve, but I call you "Dear Sinclair" because the Lord has touched my heart so often in every sermon over the years. As Im trying to hold back tears from listening to the writing of the dear lady that lost her eye and had to suffer so much, nope, the tears are flowing. Perhaps it's normal for everyone to say it - my suffering hurts. So. Much. How can I find joy in it?  The lady's honesty about her struggles made me feel less lonely in the suffering. I saw myself in some of her descriptions. Many suffer more than I do though the pain seems so deep. When I feel like having a pity party, I'll remember this sermon. It's in my favorites folder. So much more I want to say and even tell you my story, but the important thing is that you reminded me our suffering has a purpose, many purposes. I'll try to remember that when I start to cry, as I cry. Thank you, Dear Sinclair.

“Not only that, but we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope,” 5:3-4

Amen

Thankyou Brother. May I be a gift to others, as you are to me. In Christ. Glory to God. Love u
