It is a little nuts with how much articulation they packed into this figure that they’d skimp on the ears, arguably the most expressive part of the horse

Peter... the horse is here

"No articulation in the ears, probably not necessary in a horse..." As a horse person, I can tell you that articulated ears are pretty darn essential to horse expressiveness. This is a great figure but they missed out on the ears, and swappable tail/mane.

this would be funny to pair with an umamusume figure. Makes it kinda meta.

6:37 Those aren't the knees. That's the wrist joint. The elbow is this joint here 6:04. This joint here 6:46 is the knuckle. The hoof is just a really big toenail.

7:06 not clickbait??? Damn. Fair enough.

Not sure why you keep expecting the Clydesdale horse to be smaller. That breed is huge IRL, they're something like 6' tall from shoulders to ground. Which means to be true to scale most of your 1/12 figures would be shorter than the shoulders of the horse.

They studied on horses muscles, movement but really missed out on the tack tho, skipped on some colours. As a horse person I will add that the bridle should go over the ears (like the other horse), the girth (strap under the belly) should be closer to the front legs, and the saddle should be closer to the neck, but that's an exeption since it would interfere with the movement. Would've been amazing if the ears would move, they are very expressive (ears back mean angry ect.) and the swappable mane, maybe even an opening mouth. Love how the horse has a big range of motion. Also, the horses shoulders could move seperetly. But it still looks good

I make moveable horses out of cardboard and toilet paper for my dolls, they're in my channel if you want to see animations with them. Currently working on my third model even more realistic in movement.

A tip for you: the stirrups should be on the ball of the foot if you want to have someone look more experienced.

Damm that is a cool horse. I would love to see Nottaa take this horse base and make it into a centaur figure

AWESOME review, but the Fish Toys horse is basically a Clydesdale/Shire style horse, which are HUGE compared to a regular sized horse. They're supposed to be that big and beefy 😅

4:13 the most realistic pose for a horse I’ve ever seen. 😂

Loving the articulation range, so posable

One of my dreams is to one day start a line of fully articulated 1/12 scale animals. I think it has such untapped potential.

4:57 - as someone that's been around horses a lot, this makes me sad because how the ears are held is one of the easiest forms of equine communication for humans to take note of.

This alert, happy expression is okay but really doesn't do it for me in dynamic poses
