If there is one thing I have learned from watching you guys is that “windows are expensive”.

I believe that plug is for a clock. Back in the day, they made kitchen clocks with itty bitty plugs.

@14:43 That's clock receptacle, most likely. Usually the outlet was recessed for the clock plug.

When you got to the missing AC, I was asking "where's the back steps?"

$45K for that house is amazing. These are the best flips, just hardwoods, paint, kitchen and bathroom upgrades, ceiling fixtures, outlets, just one window, and probably a couple of other small things.

Seeing Frank come out of a room with some change and that look on his face lol totally worth it :)

I would finish that basement, even if that's just putting some basic peel and stick tiling down there and painting the ceilings. Would make it much more attractive.

The plug above the door is for a clock. I have one in my kitchen, house from the 1950s.

Without that back door, the place is a fire trap.

The electrical outlet over the doorway in older houses was put there for powering the electric clocks of the era.

Whatever that water issue is on the side of the house it's got to be resolved.

14:52 the up high plug was for a clock. Every old house I've been in that was not remodelled had one like that in the kitchen

As someone who lives in an upstairs apartment (in a converted house), specifically in one of those weird, A-frame rooms, the heat does rise and it is awful. It's great in the winter, I barely even have to run my heat because my downstairs neighbor runs his and it floats up. but in the summer, it is awful. Especially since I have a casement window that you can't easily put an air conditioner into.

Seems like "must haves" for buy or rent are air conditioning, ceiling fans, updated kitchen with a dish washer. maybe washer dryer up. maybe ceiling pot lights in kitchen/dining. update fireplace? full bathroom in basement would be great then leave the rest basic just paint and resolve leaks into basement. Great video about little house that needs updating. Thanks for your evaluation of this house.

That house was flipped at least once before in the early 2000s. I know because it looks like the remodels we did where I was working at that time. The cheap overhead boob lights are a dead give away. We put in cabinets like those in that kitchen + some slate floors in entryways. By the 2010s we were painting our interiors that same color and putting down that tacky faux wood vinyl flooring.

I just love that you guys never point in the right direction for the links. Lol

That purple mess looks like slime!

Another feral children room! It'd be great to see the progress on the original feral children's room home!

Drywall should stay dry........classic 🤣

Frank is right about the single gang recessed brass plug in above the door.
I am the same age and grew up painting and remodeling here in Flint.

An attic is not a bungalow.
A bungalow is typically a small, single-story house or cottage. It often features a low-pitched roof, an open floor plan, and a prominent front porch.
The wax on the floor probably means that was not a child’s room, aye?
There is no sewage meter on a house. But there usually is a water meter. Unless they charge a flat rate for water, like they do in Marysville and Port Huron.
