Outstanding episode!  You keep taking your videos to the next level.  Really enjoyed this one. Thank you!

You said, “hello loved ones”! That made my day! 😊

My grandmother was 23 in 1929. However, in the early 60’s when I was a child, she was still talking about him. It is so wonderful that you are preserving this photo and sharing the history of it with everyone. And that vase is sooo uniquely beautiful!

That young soldier was so moving. He had such youth and hope in his face. Quite handsome.

"Take out the double boiler." always meant mom was making cream puffs!

Awesome video ❣️l loved absolutely everything 😊Thank you for sharing your knowledge of your favorite era with us. Look forward to seeing more treasure’s from your travels.

Yes Scot Rudy Valley and his megaphone ❤

Nice finds.  The swing frame is beautiful.

I'm old enough to know who Rudy Vallee is.  I enjoyed this post so much. It's amazing you found that historical photo. Thanks for finding recordings of him fo us to hear his voice.

I enjoyed every second.

I have a lot of favorites 😍
The best find is the handsome young soldier...and the Rudy Valley photo ...😊❤

Watch the video! Charming antique store!

I just loved this video!!!  So happy for all your great finds. Just beautiful.  The soldier-be still my heart. I hope he lived. But the information about Rudy Valley was so interesting. And all those people in the picture!  Amazing.   PS I’ve never used a double boiler either, but I have one WHY?  Thank you. Always entertained  and more educated than before I watched the video!!❤️

My mom (who was born in 1924) had a collection of 78's but she didn't have anything to play them on. I don't know what ever happened to them but I'm sad that I didn't save them. I can't name a favorite piece from your post today. I loved it all!! Thanks, Scott, for imparting your knowledge. You make the past so interesting. ❤

I knew it was Rudy Vallee before you told us!  And the man that introduced him was Casey Kasem!  I love all your treasure finds.

I like the chocolate pot and cups. Love that pinecone design on it. You found some very beautiful glass items!  I had heard of Rudy Vallee (I was born in 1960).  I had thought he sang "Winchester Cathedral" but it turns out it was sung by John Carter in 1966 imitating his singing style.  Those photos are very interesting.  That WWI soldier looks about 13 years old.  I'm sure he's not.  Thanks for showing and explaining the large photo.  I love to see how the women dressed back then.

That soldier is really young, maybe 16 or 17 years old.  My great Uncle J, my Grandmother's brother enlisted at 17. His mother had to sign for him. BUt that was WWII.

I want to see the squirrels 🐿️ please!!! ❤

My Lord......you find some Gorgeous stuff!

I love the picture of the soldier!! I almost bought a soldier picture in an antique store in Indiana and I left it and have always wished I'd gotten him. Glad you saved that soldier!!
