meanwhile I sweat when I buy a $15 card.

Still amazes me that they are increasing prices but can’t add a minute to their grading process to give some basic grading notes.

@JoseMartinez-ph5rl 8 months ago

Dudes literally got psa in his stores and he trys to convince us sooooo badly that theres no conflict of interest here. What a joke.

My biggest gripe with PSA is they continued to grade with no explanation.

They claim your card is altered, but they won’t even point out what it is

How is the company this large that lazy?

@davidwashburn5951 8 months ago

If I pay for a grade I should get a sheat with the reason a card was altered

Geoff, your videos are amazing! Thank you for sharing your knowledge.

Something is odd on the PSA end for the Skywalker card. The PSA serial isn't showing anything nor is the scan on the back of the card. I would honestly contact them and ask what's going on what that card.

@andrewalfano13 8 months ago

SGC hates giving 10s I swear you have to catch them on payday to get those 10s it really doesn't shock me in the least that got a PSA 10 it looks flawless.

@CraigBuysCards 8 months ago

With your Skywalker, it's possible that since it has a sticker on the back now, it could be considered altered.

@WheatBread006 8 months ago

The Skywalker may have not minimum size requirements. Read the N6 no grade definitions in the PSA grading standards on the website.

@boomshot24 8 months ago

Pokemon is big in using a blue sharpie to cover up whitening if you have a blue light you can use and see if it was altered that mightve been what psa seen to give it that altered grade

The problem I have with PSA is there upcharge model is BS and anti-collector. I pulled a Mike Evans Kaboom and I want to grade it. My options are grade with PSA, CGC or Beckett. The base grading price is around the same for all companies but if I get a PSA 10 they upcharge me 475$! So if I plan on keeping my card I actually lost money. Why is PSA taking the profit for my card being gem?! I have graded many cards with CGC and BGS and never been uncharged by them, much better business model. PSA just feels greedy and gross.

@RogerB84 8 months ago (edited)

WHY DO THEY CHARGE A LOT MORE TO GRADE, HIGHER VALUE CARDS?? THEY DON’T DO ANYTHING DIFFERENT, IT’S JUST A WAY TO GET MORE MONEY OUT OF YOU!! IT’S RIDICULOUS IMO!

@zmannsportscards 8 months ago

Sick! Great stuff!

@dparsow 8 months ago

Nothing better than seeing the confusion on a PSA reveal on why you got the grade you got. No rhyme or reason to PSA grading. Entirely subjective.

@RetroCausality1 8 months ago

You should sell them back to PSA and watch them turn to 10s.

@dta151 8 months ago

Shouldn't they tell you in the graders notes why it didn't meet minimum grade requirement? For the Luke Skywalker card

@ItZBIGHAM 6 days ago

On the 1977 topps Star Wars im assuming the reason they gave it an authentic is it looks like i see some of the wax residue on the back of the card. Most of the times depending on the grader and how they feel they usually give it an authentic grade😢
