I remember watching this episode the day it originally aired on television.  Just as powerful and emotional now some 23 years later. Great acting here from two Ramsey Street legends.  Susan's portrayal is so heartfelt, Jackie Woodburn is such a good actress.

And the Oscar goes to........Susan Kennedy. She was fab.

What a find!!! I'll never forget this scene! What inspirational acting, and to think this was aired at half 1 in the afternoon! I still remember the special promo ads about Sarah/Karl/Susan, the BBC did with Careless Whisper playing in the background!

Once you find out they’ve cheated, your mind starts processing everything they’ve ever said to you in the past and finds every lie they told you. You get angry every time a new connection is drawn. It’s not the act of cheating that hurts, it’s the lying and the fact they’ve played you for a fool. You feel stupid for believing them. You feel hurt because they thought you were stupid for believing them.
